You can pick her vs champs like yasuo, Vayne, teemo or champs that need to be close range (except for olaf). Is also good if You have 1 - 2tanks in your team. Just avoid picking if the enemy has too many assasins, specially Katarina. Or the enemy team has a lot of engage and your team has no fighters or tank.

Im trying to understand the reasoning behind luden's tho. You said it's for movement speed but luden's doesn't explicitly say it gives any of that. Is there something I'm missing? personally luden's in the jungle seems kind of like a bad first ap item as there's no need for the mana in jungle.

everyone wants to backseat game so ill join in lol. With how the match was going, you should have just started split pushing top or bot while tracking the enemy team like a hawk on the minimap. It takes pressure off the team fight as they HAVE to send at least one person to stop you. Mean while taliyah can R back to her team or away from damage. The main reason The enemy won was because They had illaoi split pushing constantly pressuring the map, opening up lanes and forcing you to constantly deal with supers. You were marching to the beat of their drum their. Lane prior/ broken inhibs > objectives. This game is a perfect example of that.

The illaoi fear is hilarious. She not a good champion lol. Way too many things missing in her kit like a speed up, good dash, CC, self heal outside of champion combat etc. Literally just get liandrys and a movement speed item and kite her. Shes a superb lane bully (which is where the high banrate comes from) but that's where her strengths end. Imagine becoming useless for 5 seconds after you miss a highly telegraphed slow travel skill shot.

Don’t buy Shadowflame, not a good item for her. Focus haste, horizon focus is 10x better as a second item. Edit: looking at the final build, it’s terrible. Prioritize ability haste AP items.

@@legitplayin6977 Great Items: Ludens, Seraphs (midlane), Horizon Focus, Cosmic Drive (s tier item for her), Cryptbloom over void staff, Zhonyas if too many assassins or threat of death. Those are her best items. I’d say her best three item jungle start is Ludens, into Cosmic, into Rabadons.

Personally I prefer her mid, but she’s still hella fun. She’s my main, so it was kind of a hard watch this video.

@@legitplayin6977 aim for mage items with haste. Her best item is probably cosmic. I’d recommend building Ludens, Into Cosmic, Into Rabadons for Jungle as your core three items. You can build Zhonyas or Banshees if you struggle against some of their team comp. Focus haste on her items, which is why cryptbloom is way better than Taliyah. You can build her full burst but you just won’t get as much value. Haste makes her such a good champ, hitting your abilities. Horizon focus is another great item if you’re looking for damage, it works very well with Taliyah. Another good tip, your worked ground rock will slow enemies. If you hit one of those, it’s an easy setup to hit your WE combo. Use your E after W if you’re sure it’ll hit. You can use your E for a slow to hit W as well yes it works. For your R, you do not always need to ride it or get to somewhere. It can be used for good zoning, and knocking people with the R cast works with your E, so you can use that for a quick stun. I’d recommend watching Odysseus, he’s an EUW challenger Taliyah otp and he’s quite literally the goat. He has a very good guide, and has very good gameplays to watch in jungle and midlane.
