i use 442 , been using it since the beginning so im kinda used to it and familiar with the roles, as for today i had a real hard time winning three games in a row after reaching div 3 checkpoint and also lost like three games at 2-3 and in such games i was winning at one point

Cms help you more in front i’d say it’s more aggressive, 4231 defensively great because of cdms but maybe you’ll struggle getting the ball to the cam in some cases that’s what I noticed from using them tbh, i tried short passing or keeping the cam on playmaker instead of shadow striker to have the three midfielders closer to each other

Unfortunately EA FC doesn't award good midfield play much, which makes these "box to box" formations good. For me personally it is too boring to play that way, but I also play purely recreationally without any bigger ambitions.
