99 percent of the time u use ur midfielder to defend, but if it’s a obvious that the cb can get the ball then go for it, but only if it’s obvious

If the midfielder gets too far from the attacker, like if he dribbles past you and your midfielder can’t catch up, and now your cb is closer to the attacker, you switch to your defender, jockey, and try to get the ball with your cb, that’s the main time 2. If it’s in the box and your cb is closer to the attacker then the midfielder, switch quickly to your cb and try to get the ball Usually those times u switch back to a defender

Certainly. I'm away from my console right now but soon as I get to it I will change. Advance Defense is really OP. Over and over my opponents body me out of the ball and I get really surprised on how it doesn't turn in a card. Well, that's why. So you do it or your basically will lose 30-40% of your defending possibilities
