I'm a big fan of this vid, mixed venusaur is rad! I love sun teams, they're so much fun! I personally like heatran with earth power over flash cannon, it really helps hit switches and the various steels it switches in on so nicely. I prefer magma storm on mine as well, but I can definitely understand why you'd choose the more accurate move. It sucks when it misses, I just choose to deal with that because of how nasty the damage is and the Storm trap + taunt just shuts down and KOs walls, its a gnarly combo. I also love to see a slither wing on a sun team, it's really fun and catches people off guard! the set I settled on was bulk up, leech life, CC, flame charge (hits pretty hard in sun, especially after boosts) with 251 speed ivs, lets you ko ogerpon after one speed boost- and once it's checks are weakened/gone it proves quite difficult to put down. Overall A+! awesome games and team :D

I have a question. From your perspective would you recommend to run Venusaur with solar beam with earthquake, or the set you have with Sludgebomb and power whip? I know weatherball is a stable same as Growth. Also for the spread would you say it’s better to run max speed and mix offenses or max out both offenses? Also I love the video. I’ve loved using Venusaur but I’ve always ran purely special

Depends, Sludgebomb helps against like Clefable, so it depends on what your team needs

I just had a strange thought. Since poison orb and fire orb apply their respective statuses at the end of the turn, would they overwrite the sleep status of rest?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. That won't matter if you're asleep you would have to wait for the pokemon to be awake for another status to apply statues don't typically overwrite in pokemon. Unless you count using rest when you're poisoned, burned, or paralyzed.

Focus Miss has some clones such as Hurricanmiss, Thunder Miss, Blizzard Miss, which they all have 70% Accuracy like Focus Blast. Gunk Shot before generation 6 had 70% Accuracy, making it a Gunk Miss, then in Generation 6 onwards, it had 80% accuracy, removing it from the blizzard variation category.
