Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cover of Kinich's theme. You might have noticed that many aspects of his design - his appearance, companion, and even the music - seem to pull him a bit out of Genshin's usual aesthetic. While I love his gameplay, I sometimes find his visuals a bit jarring. So, I thought it would be fun to reimagine his theme with a more traditional and tribal feel, something that feels more in tune with Natlan's atmosphere. I hope you enjoy this take on Kinich's theme! the original theme is really good. but it doesn't feel in line with the rest of genshin's character themes. i prefer your take on his theme. beautiful stuff! i know what's going to get me through the rest of my afternoon!

Is it bad that I actually prefer this rather than the original...? Of course the original fits the pixel style a lot more, but its a pity they didn't do something like this since Natlan's open world themes with all the instrumentation have been spectacular so far! Amazing work as always, love how you always add your own twist to your covers

Bad? Not at all! I'm very flattered, thank you! 😭 I really enjoy the original too, the production quality of the new character trailers is insane! But it's not entirely my style, which is why I wanted to reimagine the music a bit. Hoyomix often takes a lot of creative freedom with character themes, so I don't expect them to perfectly match their regions. That said, I do wish they'd lean more into the unique instruments and soundscapes you'd expect from Natlan! Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed this one as well!

It's not bad at all to have preference. Some people like the pixel style music, some people don't.

This is actually a very interesting take on his theme! Most of the covers have a more electric theme and I was also wondering what it would sound like if his theme was more in sync with Natlan's aesthetic, so this cover hits so hard 😳 I think I can see myself listening to this while i work. On repeat 🥰

Even if it might not really fit with what was intended for his character, I still prefer this version as the traditional instruments were amazing when I first got to Natlan, and hearing his theme with them is fantastic. Also, I really like how you still implemented some elements that reference the gamey nature, like having the arcade-style beeps and boops around the middle of the song.

Yeeeeeeey I was so waiting for this one!!! I listened to the theme yesterday in the trailer I loved it :O I was really hoping you'd do it! (Very quick by the way xD, you're all too good at releasing music so quickly after it's been released haha). Although I really like the fact that you've completely changed the style, at least it's original! I much prefer the original theme in pixel style, that's really what was insane for me ToT, so if there was one theme not to change it was this one XD But knowing you, your style ect... I really expected that if you do it, you'll never do the pixel style again haha. It's pretty much what I imagined from you, and it's very well done! So I like it for the diversity, but, the original theme conquered me too much this time to prefer yours xD In any case very nice work obviously!!! You deserve just as many congratulations, especially for the quickness xD

I knew you'd like the original more! It reminded me of Silverwolf's theme and how much you like this sort of music :D I like it for the nostalgia, but it's not something I see myself listening to regularly. Hey! Thank you for pointing that out. My intention was never to cause harm or be disrespectful, but after doing some research I understand how the term can be problematic. I'll definitely fix the title and thumbnail to better reflect the music's inspiration in a more respectful way. Thanks again for the feedback! ^^
