I have a gardening question for a Japanese style garden i'm putting in my back yard. How Do you control the weeds? Barrier cloth under the gravel and soil? Thanks for this, Anne

Hi Anne, great question. Traditionally there is no weed barrier cloth used. Weeding the garden by hand is considered part of process of maintaining the garden. However, I would suggest you use whatever method you are comfortable with. In my experience, weed barriers work for awhile, until they don't. Unfortunately there is no real great solution.
