After picking up the Land Cruiser we go about getting it set up for our travel requirements. Then its time to test it out, we head to Kinkuna Beach Just south of Bundaberg Queensland to put it through some challenges.

Hi there John and Liz. It was lovely to have a chat with you both in Deloraine today. Thanks for spending time with us and for sharing your latest news. We saw the new rig as we left town and now having seen it on this video I reckon you are really on a winner. Thanks for another entertaining video and all the very best for your future adventures.

Congrats on the new rig. Any particular reason why you didn't colour-code the bull bar this time?
@OverlandAustraliaAdventures6 ай бұрын
Thanks Peter we are enjoying it.. I quite like the black against the white, in addition the one on the Prado was colour coded and made it difficult to touch up the paint where as I can hit this with a bit of flat black if needed.

Great set up guys, looking great. 3 quick questions on your rig: did you have to modify your stone stomper to allow for the Kaymar wheel carriers to open?? and when you added the 150 litre fuel tank, did you do away with the small 32 litre sub tank?? also was the extra fuel tank from Brown Davis or The Long Ranger?? Thanks

Yes I turned it upside down and drilled the rivets. Then changed the orientation of the material. It is slightly narrower than when on the Prado, but is acceptable. All the standard tanks remained, it was the 150 lt Brown Davis . Which now gives me 260 litres. Have to mortgage body parts when filling them both up. But don’t have do it that often.
