I love this leave in because it's protein free glycerin free and free from oils( I have fine hair so it gets weighed down easily)so it gives me space to add a styler with a bit of protein for better definition.

Hey Vilma, Thanks for the review. I have used this product as well but recently I purchased the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Extra Moisture Detangler and it is also a good option that is similar to the Knot Today. It is a thicker consistency but it works well on my hair. I have thick 3b hair. The price here in the USA is $9.99 for shea moisture and $11.99 for the knot today so I save a couple of bucks with the shea moisture. I also like the JBCO leave in. Looking forward to your next review.

+Vilma Marie Yes, I also like the curl enhancing smoothie and I also use the LOC method. The Knot Today is great for winter because it has no glycerin so I have been using it during the winter. Now for spring and summer I decided to go with the Shea Moisture option. Both are great! Thanks! ;)

I have been using the product for several years & I love it, I also use the curling custard..Since I have a TWA it is a little more affordable for me but I still think it is a little pricey !!!

I'm not sure as I don't use Jamaican black Castor Oil. however, I do seal it with an oil...so...it may work.
