Have just over 100 hrs on my 2510, probably 30 of those on the back hoe, had to tighten a hose fitting on one of the out riggers that started to leak and also lost a bumper for an out rigger but they are just the push in type, I have a 9" and a 12 " bucket and love it, dug up 12" fir stumps, cleared black berries and tileing and still have projects in store for it

QUESTION: 1:07 That boom lock in the middle of the screen has me stymied. I can't get it to set back down on the ears. There must be a trick to move it, but the dealer failed to give me a manual for the backhoe. HELP! Thanks!

When you dig that ditch you were just curling right in and scooping. That works with lose material for loading. But if you’d stretch out and drag your teeth to break up the dirt, then curl to scoop the broken up dirt you’d have fewer problems with your bucket packing and having to be shoveled out. Though it’s clay so it’s still a little rough. It also makes it backfill better because being broken up smaller there won’t be so many air pockets when you backfill and track it in for compaction.

got one also. use hockey pucks with a drilled hole in middle. works great for bumper stops

It made a big difference on my tractor. Check out LS. They do it on some of their tractors and Kioti used to about 10 years ago. Good luck.

Thanks. Those came on it when i bought it. They had pads for extra that could go underneath them, but i did not buy those. I figured if i had a problem with sinking in i would, and with the clay soil i am working on i have not had any of those issues.
