You guys are the ONLY ones out there talking about a mid mount belly mower for the CK line. I asked my dealer, they'll sell you the mid pto, but seem to always change the subject when asked about the mower.

@@dogman8356 yeah no. A 3 range hst is a must. I can't believe it's only a two range. Gears are nice, but I bet they dont offer a shuttle shift

I have wondered the same thing too. One reason from my point of view as an automotive mechanic but did my apprenticeship also on heavy machinary, is that the more gears and ranges you put in the same sized housing and shafts, means everything has to be a little bit thinner and smaller to fit. Kubota seems to be able to do it, but you would want to be in low range for any work, which would be quite slow, medium range for mowing, but on our hills mowing would have to be low range. The low range on the 2 speeds is in between and more suitable for us. High range speeds relate to travelling on roads etc, not going to happen on our place. So for me personally in our situation the 2 speed range is a better choice. So the most important choice is in fact what type would suit your application better

It sounds like you need to check thr oil in they bushhog, it sounds like it's dry,. You might want to grease the berrins.on the mid mount, because if it's new they didn't fill it up with grease, I know that they didn't on mine,. O they gave them a couple of shots, but it wasn't enough., when I finish filling mine with grease(about 11 shots each) the noise from them running dry went away, and then it run so smooth and quite,it was like night and day on making it better..by the way on the 12 shot you could feel the grease gun start to tighten up, so I knew that was enough, and none leaked out, so do all 3 of them,bearing spindles..

So the mid mount mowing deck does NOT lift up out of the way? I know you adjust with the pins, but I wouldn't want to leave that MMM on the tractor while using another implement while the MMM is dragging on the ground.

I wonder if he just forgot to raise the MMM up , you could not do much else if it wont raise up off the ground

the tractor is to big for the mower should be a 72 inch , there is very little space between the edge of tire and the out side cut width, my mower from factory was running 500 RPM slow did a lousy job of cutting, cuts clean know
