Love the tractor, you know it!! I don't really miss the snow, but snow blowing like this every now and then would be fun again! Just not the cold! Take care. Kapper

GREAT QUESTIONS and good answers...My blower is on the front using my lawn tires and back ones have chains and weights..Wish I had a cab...

Front mount snow blower makes more sense to me versus rear mount. I'd have a sore neck constantly turning around to see ! Regards ----------> JimInCincy

Wow, just squeezed under the garage door. I bet that was nerve racking the first time putting it in there.

nice vid but I would rather hear the tractor and snowblower instead of music. I gave it a like any way
@robert497837 жыл бұрын
Yep, I agree. I was critiquing the son snow blowing when I recorded it. Figured people would rather not hear that so I went with music. Next vid I won't use music.

Are you still satisfied with the NX5510 and blower? Any major problems with either?
@MinnesotaEric7 жыл бұрын
Nice video! How do you like your turf tires on your NX and are they loaded with RimGuard? I've entertained switching over to turfs once all the "rough work" is done on my new parcel.

I really like them. What I like best is the light footprint they have. I have driven over a schedule 20 pipe buried less than 1 inch under the ground and expected it to be crushed. Not damaged at all. Have driven over it many more times with heavy grapple on front and a 72" grading scraper on back and still no damage. Yes, rims are filled with Rim Guard. Traction is excellent in snow and better on ice than any of the other types. I have muddled them up and as expected they fill up. Unless really sticky clay mud they do fine as lugs shed the mud pretty quickly. Have driven this tractor over my septic field many times with no damage or even soil compaction. In fact I hesitant to drive the lawn tractor over the field as the lawn tractor has a deeper foot print than the turfies on the tractor does.

I've got a lot of sphagnum that after a heavy rain or spring is rut city-not to mention the soft parts along the lakeshore. That said, I'd really like the increased snow traction!

That's a 55 horse tractor, you can snow blow a lot faster in that not so deep snow!

Agreed. Music is annoying. I'm going to be doing some more vids in the spring, installing a lawn and removing stumps with the backhoe. I'll probably skip the music.

I put music to my videos if all I'm doing is showing work getting done.

If you are "the" EricTheOricle you are a really good video maker. I think you have a good idea of when to speak and when to play music. I'd have to play around for awhile before I got that good. For now I think I will try to shorten up next vids and do a bit more narrating.

I think if you ever chained up those rear tires, you would hit the garage jam; cool video nonetheless.
@robert497837 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct. In fact, the reason I got the turf tires was because the others would not fit. Perhaps someday, i'll build a pole barn but for now, I really haven't found a need for chains.

40k to move 5 inches of snow
@robert497837 жыл бұрын
Like anything in life comes down to priorities. I also have another 3/4 mile of drive just to get to my house you don't see here and I use my tractor as side business for snow removal. However, there are still less expensive options no matter how you slice it. When you think about it, over the course of a lifetime, most of us spend a lot more than 40k on things we could probably do for less. A year into this purchase and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Will likely have it paid for in a couple years with the snow removal alone. Could have saved years of headache trying to do things the "cheaper" way. Thanks for the comment.

Robert Donaldson i think you spent wisely i just thought it was funny using it on such a little bit of snow

I have sub compact kioti 2210 with snowblower. how easy was that one to change from front loader to snowblower? that one is chain driven if I'm not mistaken, is there still shear pins on the 72?
@robert497837 жыл бұрын
I found it very easy to change. Maybe 30-45 mins on the change over. Yes, it is chain driven and yes there are shear pins.
