You can haul it with implements. Just keep the loader raised up. If you are worried about it bleeding off put in a board to block it so it can't come down. I don't think you need to worry about it as I have hauled mine without issues over 100 miles. Also, when you load the trailer, you can keep the back support legs one notch off of the ground, so it does not get stuck down. Secondly if you do get stuck and you don't have any other alternatives, you can unhitch the trailer and then lower the nose of the trailer and you should be golden.

Strong ramps to take that weight. We bent the ramps on our old ramp truck car hauler loading our tractor on it lol. They were real nice aluminum ramps. Bent them back as good as we could and welded in some more aluminum underneath them to strengthen them up. Never had a problem with cars or trucks put that tractor over them one time and bent them. Would like to buy a new tractor but for as much as I use it and the house I have it at here I am only at part of the year since my main house is on the beach in SC then the other house in Gulf Shores, AL. It would be nice to have in SC too though since I have another piece of property with 15 acres but anything that is left there gets stolen so if I had a tractor out there it would just be gone lol. Unless I built a house and lived there might someday. I have an International probably the same size as your tractor I have had nearly 20 years.

I went with John Deere , largely because there is a Deere dealership 5 miles from my house. I grew up around IH tractors, I had intended to get a Case IH, or Kubota but, the I got a bad vibe from the sales guy at the dealership that had red,blue and orange tractors. Plus that dealership was 20 miles from me. Most tractors are pretty decent, a good dealership that has been and will be around for a long time is probably more important than the color or the tractor.

A riddle bucket would do away with a lot of manual handling Chris. I'd say it would pay for itself in no time. You could split into it, tip it into your new rebar mesh drying cages ( :-) ) & load out trailers from the cages - no more tossing firewood. :-) More faster, easier on the old body (we're the same age...) - makes good sense. If each cage was a face-chord/half chord in capacity, you could just tip the cages straight into the trailer.. waay fast & easy.

Nice job, bet going to the tractor yard was like a walk into candy land, at least it would be for me... where I bought my tractor, the guy has a pretty spread of attachments plus is a chainsaw and mower dealer... my GF refuses to accompany me if I'm going there, not fair. I have the 4010 hst, I looked into the linked peddle and did some thinking about it, its not really worth the time, money or long term imo, my reasoning... we have tier engines that re-burn once the exhaust container sensors register full, if you consistently run at idle with short accelerations (linked peddle) your going to fill that filter faster, the older the filter gets the less its going to burn off during regens, its better to run the engine hotter whether your moving or not with the throttle at +1100rpm all the time then waffle back and forth from idle to the rpms from the linked peddle calling for power... just my thoughts though. I've had my Kioti since 2018, the only issue so far is the front axle is leaking out the seals by both tires, its a simple gasket and I'm going to do the repair myself, my co-worker has the same machine as mine and his were also leaking and he said the fix was very easy, so I'm going to give it a shot, but all in all, I've abused my tractor and all it has done was ask for more abuse, one of the better purchases I've made without knowing to much about the machine.

@Alan_Hans__2 жыл бұрын
I would look at replacing 1 of the cap head screws with a bolt 4" or so long and use a locknut to lock it in place where it needs to go and then you can use the bolt as a fully rigid splint for whatever else you use to brace the lever. It's bad design to put the weak point so close to the point where you can get the most leverage on it. Having the entry hole 4" or so up the shaft would give you a much stronger assembly.

It’s a very simple process on hard level surface and will take off 800-1000lbs plus give more room in the trailer. Yeah that’s a bad design. It should of been a solid shaft or twice as big if they wanted to stay in tube/pipe form. BEFORE you started breaking things!!? Why you couldn't leave the loader up and over the tailgate, or front end? Easy enough to make a cylinder support. It was, for most of the video, a pucker tense episode!! Congrats on saving the big money a big helicopter would've cost to haul it in! What? Lowboy? Rented equipment trailer? No! They don't do that kind of thing in Minnesota! What? Oh!! Well, north of Chicago anyway! The local Amish would've just had one of their boys drive it to the dealer, unless it was more than 49 miles! Stock. But they are weighted.

It seems that every time I leave a comment that they are taken down,😮🤬 maybe because of my comments. Toyota Tundra 2015, We know that the minimum tongue weight will be 720 pounds. We also know that the truck maxes out at 9,800 pounds gross trailer weight. So the feasible range of the tongue weight is 720 to 980 pounds (assuming the truck tongue weight capacity is 10 percent of the gross trailer weight capacity).

Yup, that sounds about right.

Do you shoot videos every day and get on and off 5-8 times to go 50 yards every time you use it?
@albertbuikema44512 жыл бұрын
Windows don't clean themselves. Every tractor Ive run has had a cab. The only reason I like the cab is it keeps me warm in the winter and dry when its raining. I guess the radio is a nice option too but I rarely use it.

You broke the handle on the log splitter as well. Perhaps you don't know your own strength/ on reinforcing the lever would a piece of tube with an inside diameter to fit nicely on the lever that is then cut lengthways in half you could then glue it on with some epoxy glue. Don't bump it getting on or off
@npettengill20002 жыл бұрын
Most people with Ultras have had to replace the handle. There are other channels (not nearly as good as this) that had to replace it as well. With less production than Chris.
@InTheWoodyard2 жыл бұрын
That would probably work well too! Thanks for the idea!

Blame your muscles built up from decades of making firewood as the cause of the loader lever breaking. Using the processor will weaken those muscles and give the loader lever a fighting chance.
