I’m very happy with my Kioti cx2510. I wear a size 10 and even with my logging boots, I have not experienced any issues.

It takes some getting used to, but i just got my ck2620hst with backhoe, and its so much better suited for lifting heavier trees when they fall. Lifted a full red cedar overhead to move to the back, and biggest issue was getting it to the back as i couldnt clear the trees in the driveway. Ended up carrying it to the road and driving down embankment to drop over fence on side thats cleared off fence. Machine is an absolute beast.

It’s funny that you bring up the pedal spacing. I went from a L2501 gear drive to a CK2610H, specifically because I am 6’5” and wear a size 16 boot. The pedal on the hydro version of the L series made it impossible for me to use it, as I really wanted to stick with Kubota. Having said that, I am a professional operator by no means so the hydraulic issue isn’t as big of a deal to me. I really like having a hydro now and I like the split pedals, but I don’t know any different. Cool video series

2610's are identical in almost every aspect as the 3510.Like I said,the average guy would'nt even notice the system of the KIOTI.I think KIOTI is going to tighten the gap between KUBOTA and DEERE.For the money,you can't go wrong.Thanks for watching.

I like both Kioti and Kubota tractors. I stayed cautious with my Kioti purchase and bought the shuttle nx 4510. Lower hp (for a platform rated for higher hp engines), simpler trans and its been awesome. I like the Kubota hydraulics but Lots of tractors still have the old fashioned loader valves and I don't have an issue with those either. It takes a bit more skill to be efficient but its not a deal breaker.

I have a 2024 DK5010 and the hydraulics are still the same. Bothered me at first but I found that when I run the throttle at the recommended 2600 rpm it was much better. Still not as smooth as I would like it but definitely takes the frustration out of it. As for the pedals I haven’t had an issue with them being too close Maybe my feet are not as big as yours 🤷🏻‍♂️I live in Quebec so lots of snow here as well normally but not this winter that’s for sure! Thanks for the videos!

After you get the carb back in the quad consider using stabilized gas with a fuel system cleaner. For small engines I use Quickshot cleaner that can also stabilize for 6 months, or quickshot + amsoil stabilizer if I think the gas will in the unit for > 6 months. I also stick with premium gas since a lot of it is still without ethanol. Never had a problem since I started doing this many years ago, and this even brought one old gummed up 4 stroke whipper motor back from the dead (would only run on full choke until I ran a few tanks of the treated fuel through it).

Okay,lets fire up this conversation.I was told that certain gas stations have no ethanol.NOW,I did some research and come to find out,ALL fuels now have the 10% ETHANOL in Canada.Since when?Since the LIBERALS did a back door deal and told ALL refineries they must follow new Legislation that they had enacted.I believe in 2021.Don't quote me on this,but it is available on the internet for everyone's viewing Carburater pleasure.I found this all out after rebuilding or tuning 9 carbs out in the shop and trying to figure out who was not using ETHANOL.Looks like everyone is.I have always ran stabilzer,STABIL,now I run K-100.Check it out,used for ethanol fuels.And,emptying tanks and carbs for equipment not used often.Thanks for watching.And let me know about who's running ethanol.

I have two major complaints on the hydraulics on my Kioti DK6020 is the 3 pt hitch lift speed. My Kubota had a slow speed for small adjustments up with the 3 point arms, the Kioti jumps and shakes the whole tractor when trying to make a small lift adjustment. It drive me crazy. The biggest issue though, and Kioti is trying to fix it is the introduction of air and as a result, cavitation. In the pump. The loader jumps as it's lifting heavy loads and when it's gets really hot gets really bad. My tractor had a first of a kind experimental electric fees pump installed on the suction side of the pump and it has made a big improvement but when I work the tractor hard, like brush hogging or a lot of grapple work, it still shudders. It's a known issue and drives me crazy. There are a lot of little things I don't like on the new Kioti too. Cheap designs that just shouldn't be there. For instance the 3 point hitch lowering adjustable hard stop. It's so cheap that even when I use pliers to try and tighten the screw it still will move if you put any force on the handle when lowering the arms. I bought this because the price was less than the comparable Kubota but I'm now wishing I had stayed with what I knew was a good product and paid the extra money. It's a typical case of you get what you pay for.

I'm pretty satisfied with the features of the KIOTI,but,as stated my biggest complaint is the multi-function sweetspot on the loader control.It always amazes me the number of people who never ran a KUBOTA but still have an opinion on the issue because they bought a KIOTI.There both good tractors,one just has more advanced and refined hydraulics.Thanks for watching.

@@Vermont_EarthWork turn down the rpm. Put it in neutral and throttle down. I work with large equipment everyday. When using an 80ft boom extension on a Lull, I put down stabilizers and throttle up to lift faster. Same on my kioti. If I want to go slower, lower rpm, pump will move slower.
@Vermont_EarthWork
@Vermont_EarthWork Ай бұрын
@@reallythough4591 I have tried throttling down and it makes little to no difference on the lift on the 3 point issue. It’s just a cheap tractor and to get the tractors lower in price there are things it won’t be able to do as well as the more expensive ones. If you only put 50 hours a year on your tractor its not a big deal but if you use it as much as I do, spending the extra money to get the performance and refinement is well worth that extra cost in my opinion. Kioti just installed a larger electric pump on the suction side of my main pump in hopes it will fix the cavitation issue. I’ll never know as now that the latest fix is in place I am selling it and going back to Kubota and not deal with these cheap tractors ever again.
@reallythough4591
@reallythough4591 29 күн бұрын
@Vermont_EarthWork good luck with that. Cavitation is caused by a couple of issues. Clogged filtration, or dead heading, or air in the system. If it's leaking, fix it. If not, and filter is clean, lift less, it's still more than Kubota in capacity. I got 7.5 hours in this week, and that's after working 65+ hours and rebuilding fence, taking care of girl who had chainsaw mishap, etc... I checked Kubota and Mahindra, but for my needs, kioti has worked well. Just got off an 80ft Loll, and the caterpillar hydraulics are smoother, but not so much to justify the the 130k price tag, and kioti makes bobcat, so it's preference and patience.
@Vermont_EarthWork
@Vermont_EarthWork 29 күн бұрын
@ the problem is Kioti hasn't been able to fix it. Now more and more of them are having the same problem. It's not a simple problem and they haven't identified root cause but have installed a kit on a few, including mine, which has an electric pump that is installed on the suction side of the main pump. This pump is supposed to prevent air from entering the main pump. I'm not comfortable with this as a solution as it's not fixing the root cause. Only minimizing the symptoms. I have had 3 Kubota tractors over the last 4 decades and never had any problems with any of them. That's just my experience but that is enough for me to stay with I have had the best luck operating. There are also many things on the Kioti that are sub par and don't work well. You get what you pay for I guess. I'm glad you like your Kioti but it's just not up to my standards.

out here in alberta last year, i had two neighbors who farm that thought they would try the 100 horsepower kioti for raking and tedding hay. both were down last year for almost the entire hay season for sensors in the pollution crap. Kioti could not get sensors and the tractors sat in the fields where they shutdown or limp mode. Not a dealer fault as soon as they got sensors they were out installing them.

Is it something that can be fixed or replaced to make the 2 functions work a little better?
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 3 ай бұрын
This all comes back to oil flow design.And that all stems from the manifold that the oil passes thru to get to the control valve,to in turn get to the work area being the cylinders or attachments.This system is a BASIC,cost effective hydraulic system,no doubt designed to keep price down by using symplistic components and old school technology.I would say,not at all trying to redesign what Kioti already has.Just not cost effective.I have heard from viewers that the newer systems are better?I don't know.You just live with it,and go a bit slower.Thanks for commenting.

With the way the Kioti is setup does trying to perform 2 functions at once cause any damage over time? Say years....or does it just give less than optimal performance?
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 10 ай бұрын
No damage.Oil flows freely within the circuit.What it can't use in one area of work will find its way to the other.And if all systems are blocked or dead headed,it will go over the relief and back to tank.NOW,prolonged use of the relief valve by holding a valve open,such as overloading your front end loader or overtaxing the sytem will cause issues over time.Overheating,stress on components,break down of oil and so on.But yes,you are correct,less than ideal performance,but still okay.Thanks for watching

OK so this is important to you as I can see. So firstly, are the two tractors equal in horse power and hydraulic flow. I would like it if you can state the horse power and hydraulic flow for both models. Hydraulic flow is measured in gpm (gallons per minute). Did not hear these stats in either video, are we comparing apples to apples? There are many models in each brand. I have the feeling the hydraulic flow for the Kioti is less than the Kubota. I would think Kioti makes a comparable tractor? Sounds like you chose the more inexpensive model? Please verify, thank you.
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974
@northeasterndirtandpropert7974 10 ай бұрын
Not a problem.you have both models available to you on the manufacture website.Firstly,I can guaranty you the KIOTI has higher GPM on the spec sheets vs the KUBOTA.Secondly horsepower if an issue to you would be irrelevant in this case.You have a gear pump supplying flow,If both pumps can only put out 12 GPM maxed,whether your driving it with 80 HP or 15 hp,the pump can only supply what the circuit allows.That would be 12GPM unless you now start altering the downstream engineering affecting flow. and ultimately pump size.The KIOTI is far from the Inexpensive model,IN FACT its at the top of its game.Its the SE model which for that model of tractor and HP range would be considered the Caddilac of small HP compacts.And generally speaking,tractor companies do not change there hydraulic platforms between a cheaper version vs an expensive version.They will upgrade as required with newer models and hyd upgrades as new models are released.The usual difference between "lower grade" models and the premium series are all about bells and whistles that come at a premium price.And by the way,the KUBOTA L-2501 is the absolute BASE model,no frills 24.8 HP tractor KUBOTA throws at you.The KIOTI is the absolute loaded up version at the time of production and model that they can sell you.I' just lay out the facts as presented by KIOTI in THERE manual on this particular tractor and running both FEL's side by side.I appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching.Oh yeah,I forgot,KIOTI is 35 hp.
