I feel like Kip is struggling to stand out on his own. It feels like everything he does well is done better by somebody else and his character isn't defined enough. Penelope almost makes it worse because she has noticeably more presence than him and knows how to make her big spots feel like they matter. At least as a young guy, he can take this time to grow his personality and wrestling ability, but growing on a big stage is not the best.

Agreed with you, and that's also a reason why it's a shame Penelope has been reduced to a manager and isn't active in the women's division. Her moves look super-impactful I wanna see her go up against the likes of Hikaru Shida, Kris Statlander and Shanna. Hopefully when the Sabian/Janela feud is over she'll get some matches

If the commentators took this match serious the match would have bombed. If the commentators tried to make fun of it or the competitors, as we’ve seen in other companies, both wrestlers and the match would have been hurt in the long run and the match would bomb. These three on commentary just let loose and enjoyed the match for what it was. Not only was it fun but it also made the match that much better.
