I got the same sort of thing.EML light flashing but no codes came up! Just like when my local garage checked it out! Still worth the £30 I paid for it though, as it checked and passed both the pre and post cat sensors before I rushed out and bought new ones. Just as well because they are usually rusted in. I took out the MAP air sensor and cleaned it. On refitting it I did get a DTC for this. Erased the code but EML light still flashing. A new air sensor ordered. They are quite cheap after all.Fingers crussed.

That's a misunderstanding of what dtc codes are. A check engine light indicates a problem with emissions, not that something in your engine is broken. The thing you unplugged probably had nothing to do with emissions, but your car recognized that it something was wrong that prevented it from working. The scan tool was only looking for emissions problems (check engine light).

Kip I'm not sure why but I dont get notifications for any of your videos even tho I'm subbed with full notifications tuned on!!! Anyways anther great video as usual, and what a great cool tool to have when checking or diagnosing those little tricky faulty faults that can sometimes cost you loads especially if relying on a dodgy car-mechanic or a not so true-full car salesman LOL 😂👍

Oh no! Sometimes that’s fixed by logging out of the app and logging in again.

@@kiphakesI've already tried that on my phone but I think I need to go into my Google privacy settings and sign out across all of my signed-in devices and tidy things up a bit as I don't even use some of my older devices anymore LOL Thanks 🙂👍

I think it depends on the car... I know the more expensive Artilink 800 does all the modules on pretty much every car.
