DS1: Random Guy who just got lucky enough to fulfill an ancient prophecy that didn't actually exist. DS2: Random Guy who wants his memories and identity back but becomes something way more in the process. DS3: A former member of the Black Hand assassins for the kingdom of Lothric who failed when given the task to kill the prince and became unkindled. Elden Ring: A random warrior got told he wasn't good enough and decided to kill god out of spite.

@@KipReacts we find out about all the blackhands but 1 mysterious one, all the blackhands we meet act friendly towards us till you go after Lothric, each main boss has an unkindled npc with dialogue who is associated with them in some way (onion knight and the giant, forlorn boy and the abyss watchers etc) while lothric does not. There's a few more bits of lore here and there I forget but yeah, it seems to point out that the main character is the mysterious black hand who failed to kill lothric. Bonus points towards the theory is that the blackhand tend to be made up of foreign hires which justifys why the unkindled can be any in game race they choose.

@@KipReacts It's easy to miss her since there's a closed door past two shadow Hornsent from that pathway I mentioned. Oh, if you haven't killed Messmer yet, if you wear the Dancing Lion's head and talk to her, she'll mistake you for a Sculpted Keeper. Kill Messmer and return to her and she'll give you something.

For anyone interested, the main intro music is Canto 7 Boss battle theme 4 (3 for earlier uploads) from Limbus Company. I recommend checking it and Library of Ruina out since they are from the same devs, these games have lots of amazing music in them. Max0r seems to use their tracks on occasion such as in this instance and in a different Elden Ring video where he used one of the Angela themes.

So, three things in particular are what do it for me: 1. The liberal use of the God-tier OSTs of both Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3. NEVER let it be said that Max0r has any less than magnificent taste. 2. The SpongeBob references. 55:31 This one especially, as it references what I personally think is the funniest SpongeBob episode EVER. (I am perfectly happy dying on this hill alone). 3. I’M A SNAKE! (Bao may have only gotten a single line in the whole damn video, but MY BROTHER IN CHRIST is it memorable🤣)

Max0r uses Mostly game soundtracks as music. Some examples include: - Nikke - Punishing Grey Raven - Arknights - blue archive - Other games he's played like Cruelty squad, Ultrakill, and Various Soulsbourne or adjancet things. - Remixes of other games OSTs like the ctuhuluseeker mention. - Other fair use music by the people who made the game music. (The music played in the into where leda is talking, I believe is by Lappy who has made sonds for Arknights though i could be wrong) To add onto this, even if you dont play them find any OST for a game known for being gacha or a gacha adjacent game and you will likely find great music. Edit: almost forgot Xenoblade and Persona, two other massive sources he uses.

While I've never played Elden Ring, I can say for certain that if it's a fromsoft game, then all the npc's can only be placed in one of two categories: an enemy or a lore character/merchant.
