Xenoblade 3 really likes to play favorites with 1 Especially in the base game. The dlc did it too but at least the Xenoblade 2 representation was very good and felt respectful to the fans, Unlike the 60+ hours base game where over 75% was Xenoblade 1 and the agnus cast had basically no screen time. Definitely one of the most disappointing things about 3 the game to build off of and reference the predecessors except 2?!

I am not sure if this was true in English, but in Japanese when Rex opens a chest one of his lines is "Otakara getto!" which means "Treasure get!" and in Future Redeemed he also says the same line when opening treasure.

I know in the English version of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Rex says, “Treasure acquired,” when opening a chest. In Future Redeemed, I’ve only heard him say “I’ll have that!” and “Love me a bit of loot,” whenever I’ve opened containers. It would be cool if he does say it in the English version of Future Redeemed since he says it in both games in Japanese. I just haven’t heard him say it in my English playthrough so far.

I love how subtle Rex's references are. Both Shulk and Rex were done justice in Future Redeemed. Sure, the references to Shulk's past adventures were a less subtle, but considering the story, it makes sense that his past would have a bit more significance.

Presumably, they played the game with Spanish subs, and it used “ellas” for the Spanish equivalent of they in that line. “Ellas” is only used when all of “they,” or at least an overwhelming majority of “they,” are female, essentially confirming that Rex is referring to Pyra and Mythra. If Logos was in the equation at all, it would have used “ellos” instead. tl;dr Spanish dub strongly implies Rex is NOT referring to Logos in that line (though take that with a grain of salt since there’s always a risk of translation errors when it comes to ambiguous stuff like this).
