I am truly saying this with a heart full of love and also because I can relate... Every comment about how Kyrah's mom & sister seem to treat her is proof of the sad dynamic between black mothers & daughters. The mean and aggressive way her sister treated her and the way her mom treated her when she came in was so on par with emotional abuse. I'm sorry but it's apparent. I can only speak on it because I recognize it from my own experience. Black moms love us in their own way but you don't have to be rude or constantly critical to show someone love. This is why a lot of us have emotional issues and have hard times in relationships with men. I am nit saying her family does not love her or she doesn't love her family, I am simply triggered by the dynamics in some of our households is low key or really high key abusive... unintentionally but still true.
