Our experience in Kiran hospital, Surat was traumatic. My mother was operated to correct for L5-S1 by trans pedicle fixation by Dr. Bhaumik Thakur The patient developed blood infection within 72 hours of operation and was in ICU for sepsis treatment. Dr. Thakur kept and his team ( Dr. Parth, Dr. Dhruv Baru) kept saying that the surgery is very clean, the surgery site has no problem. They misguided the treating physician all the time by saying that sots of surgery has no problem. Even after 3 weeks of treatment my mother condition was not improving. Even my mother developed fluid in the back ( MRI report) and doctor did not even think to mention that the fluid can be infected. All the medical Report was shown to Dr. Dhruvin Patel at SIDS and he said that the implant is infected and that needs to be removed if we want to save the patient. We admitted my mother to SIDS to remove the implant. We sent all the samples ( Pus, tissue) for culture which says that site of surgery itself was infected. If we would heave waited even one more day at Kiran, we would have lost my mother. Please do not go to Bhaumik Thakur and his team for your treatment in any situation.
