I love this song! It sounds very nice and elegant, soft too! So anyway, here are a few things I discovered abt the story told in this song: - The girl is not a human, she's a kind of creature. Seems like her whole clan was cursed so they die early and in pain I think. (could be falling in love = dying) - She found a boy lost in the forest and fell in love with him. - In the song, they're in a festival (could be a sakura-watching one). It's the last day of the girl's life. The boy didn't know. The girl was sad, but she knew she’s supposed to be happy. (Just by walking by your side, I should have found happiness) - So pretty much, the girl is slowly dying, before she died she told the boy (Can you not let go of my hand/Wait for me in the exact same place, okay) - Turns out with the undying love the two overcame time itself, stopping the girl from dying. She realizes this at (Light slowly envelopes the world) meaning that when she was dying the world is black, then the process stopped allowing light into her world. - The theme probably is Love and Reincarnation - Anyway, this song literally tells what i felt listening to Night, Fireflies and You, thank you everyone!

I was originally completely entranced by lanterns, but this even better, I really like the snappy violin like part around 0:33 and the transition after that. I really like the way you switch to +-1 octave at times. This is awesome
