I remember watching this in G4 back in the day. They never showed the episodes in order so I never really knew what was going on. But I do remember loving the Pomni vs Mecha-Pomni season arc. It started off as a cute joke until Mecha-Pomni became self-aware and then things turned pretty dark. It's crazy how they changed Cane from the anime. Probably for the better. I can't believe they are remaking it now into a 3D version of it. Pretty damn cool. I hope they stay true to the Manga and some of the anime. Those filler episodes were a waste of time but some did have their moments.

I am still amazed how the authors were able to so competently portray not only the characters themselves, but also their emotions and fictitious moments from the cartoon, which look very harmonious! It really is as if these are fragments from the animated series itself! But after this, it even becomes somehow sad that such an animated series did not yet exist...
