My Vampire Yugioh Deck Profile for April 2023

I feel like many vampire players sleep on vampire sorcerer. He’s a searcher if destroyed on the field, but in combination with vampire ghost when both are in the GY you can have two normal summons in one turn. Or you can just banish him from the graveyard and normal summon any level 5 or higher vampire for no cost. It can help due to all of the bricks that are being played in this deck.

@@stereotypicalemousername9507 there’s a couple of cards that I would switch. I’d switch vampire vamp, or 1 of the desire, or 1 of the takeover. Vampire vamp can become a beat stick, but she requires 2 tributes and since he’s not running zombie world it makes more difficult since with zombie world you’re able to tribute your opponents monster as long as sucker is on the field. In a pure vamp deck I’ve never ran more than 1 takeover nor vampire vamp. Sorcerer would enable you to summon vamp for free when he’s banished from the GY I think he’s very versatile.

@@kiwamigames Vampire vamp is not that hard to summon when using sorcerer, also you can special summon her and just normal a summon a level 4 or lower vampire and you still get her effect.

@@Jhin_Wick I only play 1 copy. Can be searched then dumped via familiar or retainer. Then if you have Voivode in hand and ghost in GY. You then can banish sorcerer from GY to trigger his effect to normal summon a vampire with having to pay tribute. Then activate ghost effect that allows you to have a second normal summon on that turn that will allow you to normal summon Voivode without the 2 tributes. It’s important to know that if you’re playing master duel after you activate sorcerer the game will ask you if you want to chain link ghost it’s very important that you click “NO” otherwise ghost effect will activate before you can resolve sorcerer and now you want have the free normal summon.

I like to run 2x Scourge and 3x Grace to consistently make rank 6s. Beatrice, Immortal Dragon and Zombie World package are great additions to make the deck more capable.

Really New player question. Why is Beatrice good if you won’t have any burning abyss monsters in your extra deck?

I've been going hard with this deck lately. I love the idea of using vampire vamp, jack 0 bolan, and enemy controller with it. I've been having a hard time getting any use out of grace though. I ended up dropping her from my deck. Any suggestions on combos with her? I'm only high gold low plat on MD so I'm not very good.

Would you go first or second with this deck??? And do you think running some board breakers or hand traps would make this deck hold better against rogue/meta decks? Any suggestions for these staples? Maybe ash and ghost belle since they are zombies? Thank you for your time (:

i personally like moonlit chill as a hand trap if you can manage it you get some nice burn damage

i know it's been 4 months but i'll help you out: vampires and especially this list function best when going first as a control strategy. i don't think this list has it when it absolutely should, unless i made a mistake, but vampire duke is amazing if not necessary. the idea is go first, end on a board of sucker + set takeover with duke in grave, activate takeover during your opponents turn to get the field spell, summon duke, have your opponent mill a card from their deck and pop a card they control. then turn 3 either make it a grind game of your choice or beat them down depending on the gamestate. as for handtraps, ash is always good, so is imperm. generally it just depends on the current meta. droll is nice too.
