This kind of feat is why I will forever maintain that No Ability is the best way to experience Kirby bosses. Carefully analyzing patterns and learning the best ways to dodge and counter each attack makes mastery of each fight so satisfying. Not that you can't do that with Abilities, of course, but I've seen so many players fall into the trap of "disregard dodging, spam strongest move" over and over again, which is just no fun if you ask me. Might also be part of the reason Kirby games are typically considered "too easy": people can and will damage tank their way through a bunch of non-endgame fights.

It's that reason why, outside of Fecto Elfilis, I explicitly did every boss with no ability my first run and Elfilis only because I died six times in a row without getting to phase 2. To this day, the Ultimate Cup Z are the only bosses I haven't done a no ability run for, and after watching this video, I'll be doing that now.

@@MusSupremeJAR03 Yes, technically. I didn't realize I had auto-swallow on, and grabbed one of the sub bosses during the gauntlet to attack with and accidently powered up. Dropped it immediately. Chaos Elfilis was suprisingly easier in its soul phase to its first form.

I remember when I was going through the Ultimate Cup Z, I had the Morpho Knight Sword, and I got to the Chaos Elfilis Soul phase, but I lost my Morpho Knight Sword and I was like "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!" Good thing the soul has those weird orbs swirling around it that you can inhale Also seriously, this is a great game. I hope new content comes out soon.

Easier since you only need to fight 12 bosses in a row, in Star Allies there were 14 if I recall including Void's four phases which aren't easy to Dodge and the three mage sisters attacking together in unison.

This has to be harder not because the attacks but because the camera can move in a XYZ Axis and sometimes its hard to tell where some attacks are going to be and where you are dodging, while Star Allies could be easy if you can learn all patterns and the camera stays in one place (Except Void Termina battle), I mean sure the boss count is slightly higher but like I said you can learn the patterns and you can get an idea of where to attack and when. Idk but for me the camera kinda messes with your run because it just moves all over the place (sometimes it doesnt even move when it has to) so ye (Damn I had to write a whole summary about this I got carried away lmfao)

The camera is your enemy against the later bosses, PFD, MK, PMK, PC, because it focuses on them not Kirby.

Actually great tip here: That Attack from Chaos Elfilis at 22:39 is normally really hard to dodge, however Blocking it (not dodging) actually doesn‘t do Damage at all.

So how hard do you think this arena is compared to the other ones in the series. I've done it without abilities/dodging and personally it's the second hardest after soul melter ex. I've played every arena starting from return to dreamland. I found the final boss to be really hard one of the hardest in the series, though I didn't realize all the strategies against fighting it that you used in the video. I also had trouble with the dedede fight, leongar as well as occasional issues with morpho knight and phantom meta knight (I have bad reaction time).

Planet Robobot is still the hardest due to Star Dream being a damage Sponge, but this one is next after it due to 3D Movement, if I would pick which boss give me the most Trouble it was Phantom Forgo Dedede due to his erratic shockwave attacks Star Allies is only hard if you handicap yourself with just Kirby.

I would still say planet robobot's arena while one of the harder ones is easier than this one since the majority of the bosses (star dream included) become really easy if you memorize the patterns. While this game had a handful of pretty tough bosses even if you know their attack patterns. That's just my experience though.

This is one is actually optional For the hardest experience you have to use no healing items/boosts, no double health, wild mode and use base abilities without upgrades Or You can also make this the easiest (in the series) by having the most broken abilities with all boosts maxed out, health boost, double health, and spring breeze mode

Tip: if you grind out the meta knight cup and upgrade your toy hammer to star, then use the deep sleep to get all the boosts, this gauntlet will become child’s play.

With masked hammer you can skip the first charge of hammer flip if you start charging during a perfect dodge and bullet time stays active while you’re charging for the final charge. It’s overpowered and you can beat ult cup z in under 10 minutes without much effort using it. You can’t heal like with morpho sword so you need to be good at timing perfect dodges and you’ll beat most bosses in seconds
