I was looking forward to that Kirby Gamecube game for years. At the end of every Nintendo Power magazine they would have a list of upcoming games. It was always there. And I remember seeing that trailer when it came out. Too bad it never came out. Looks like one of the best Kirby games

When I think of Kirby, I think of horror. Just take a look at Zero, a bleeding eyeball that explodes and the pupil comes out in a gory mess and shoots more blood at you. Or what about some of the backstories to villains? For example, Max Proffit Haltman of the Haltman Works Co. lost his daughter in an accident, and then used a wish-granting supercomputer to try and bring her back. The thing is, because she was never dead, all his efforts of wishing her back to life never worked. Eventually he was driven insane, so when his daughter did come back, he didn't recognize her. Our story ends with his brain being taken over by the machine, and Kirby utterly obliterating him. I know that's more tragedy than horror, but still...

@Kirbyex7 I don't think he would do much good. I mean, he's really talented, but the current Kirby formula is REALLY great and Sakurai went back to the Kirby's Adventure formula in NiDL and Amazing Mirror and there were no traces of Super Star formula until Super Star Ultra which was made when he was not working on Kirby. I think going back to Kirby's Adventure formula when we have the amazing upgraded Super Star formula right now is pretty dumb.

I love the sound of the Kirby horror mini game, I think it’d be really interesting to see something similar one day. The whole “Kirby can't inhale anything” part makes me think of Milky Way Wishes, and knowing Kirby, the mini game would probably be lighthearted once you completed it (or still spooky, idk). Just... I can't help but wonder how it would of turned out if that had been added in... Awesome video, by the way!

Kirby isn't scary? Perhaps you forgot about: Zero. Dark Matter. Literally every "soul" boss. Marx, who can split in half Possessed DeDeDe, which had teeth in his stomach. Haunted Carnival in KTD with those dang floors and ghost Gordos, who can only be seen in mirrors. Dark Meta Knight also in KTD, y'know that guy who just came out of a mysterious mirror from nowhere and wipes gallons of blood off his armor. The fact that Kirby has a micro void for a stomach and can spit out *most* entities as a star. Literally a character named Nightmare. In TKCD Taranza apparently is more powerful when he isn't serving Queen Sectonia, due to that fact he almost destroyed the entire universe, and all you could rely on is some special gem tree and a shopkeeper.

It might also be worth mentioning the other two versions of the GameCube Kirby game, being the more 2D one that closely resembled the GBA games at the time, and the more 3D one that was sort of reworked into Blowout Blast. Also, Nightmare in Dreamland was originally going to be its own game and not a remake, and early screenshots show new levels and worlds.
