I think it was done because the animation of the ice super ability and the magic ball super ability have Kirby animation which is happy since he must be serious I guess they put them back both for the reference to the original game but also to make Kirby serious when he use them against Magolor

I remember as a kid on the original I just threw the boss fight at the second phase and died on purpose so I could re enter with full health. Took me I think sic or seven tries to beat magalor that’s counting both forms. Took me twenty in hard mode for the second phase. Magalor soul DX absolutely kicked my ass first time I fought it.

There were actually 2 scrapped/unused super abilities Spark and Cutter but I guess Plasma and Sword are pretty much the same as Spark and Cutter so that's why they didn't make it

I’m still pissed that they just made Snow Bowl and Grand Hammer puzzle Abillities until EX mode. I honestly think that the DLC (if only lol) Gave us more Super Ability use in the Boss fights, instead of limiting them to energy spheres.

I'm in full agreeance with you. When this game was revealed the one thing I hoped for was more / better usage out of the Super CAs, or to introduce brand new ones (Super Cutter, Spark, Clock, ect). Not saying what we got out of this package was bad or anything, just wish for that one more thing yknow? But I can't really complain; this remake is a dream come true.

A few ideas: Cutter = Vorpal Cutter (RoDL mechanics) Water = Great Flood (The opposite of Monster Flame, and water fills up the screen until Kirby's Y position) Spark = Supercell Spark (Surrounds Kirby in a more greenish version of Flare Beam's Ball for 15 seconds) Tornado = Geostorm Tornado (Creates a giant tornado at Kirby's X position upon activation, sucking up EVERYTHING BUT bosses & players, dealing Spark & Bluster damage to all enemies inside) Parasol = Colossal Chumbrella (A bigger version of the Chumbrella, with the heart patterns being replaced by stars, & can drop bombs with random elements upon impact)
