I'm a Tider, but i'll tell you right now that Kirby Smart is first class. I've always had the utmost respect for him as a leader, Administrator and coach. He has brought the Georgia Bulldogs back into the promise land

I love what Derek Mason said. I’ve never seen a softer side of Coach Saban than when he speaks of Mrs. Terri! He loves her with his whole heart! I loved meeting her at Tuscaloosa homecoming with my daughter when they first arrived! She was wonderful and so warm and friendly! RTR!

I have the upmost respect for Nick as a man first and a coach second. As a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan that should speak volumes about the class he exudes and adds to the sport.

There's a reason Bama, Georgia and Clemson are pencil-ins every year for the playoffs. Classic, classy coaches who develop boys into men and actually care about their future and not how they can impact his legacy. GA should've been in with us. Stupid LSU game!😠. Next year! Role Tide!
@mommabear50596 жыл бұрын
Candy Banks I agree. Georgia should be in there, no question. It seems very unfair that Notre Dame is in there when they don’t even play a conference championship game.

One of my bosses is a big Alabama fan. From Tuscaloosa. He’s told me he knows how special Saban is and the run the Tide are currently on will never be replicated in his lifetime. He’s just enjoying it in the moment. Cause it can be over just like that. That’s what he tells me.

Pruitt will turn the Vols around IF the powers that be in Knoxville give him time. It's not going to happen overnight. My fear for Pruitt is Phil Fulmer sticking his nose in.
@nejisgentlefist426 жыл бұрын
TideFan Yankee Phil wouldn’t do that. He cares too much about UT.
@tidefanyankee24286 жыл бұрын
I get that Phil cares about UT, but with the way he was shown the door (prematurely in my opinion) there is some "ego" that might factor in. Also, after Kiffin, Dooley and Jones all not working out I think in his (Fulmer's) efforts to see Pruitt do well he could over-step as the AD. Not being disrespectful, but it happened in Wisconsin with Alvarez.

Actually it was Ralph Waldo Emerson that said what you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.
@chriswebster243 жыл бұрын
They both said it, but it was the great, legendary Coach Nicholas Lou Saban, Jr 🐐, who said it first (obviously). Like so many others before him, Ralph tried to imitate Coach Saban, because he dreamed of someday becoming a champion, himself. Unfortunately for little Ralphie, however, just like all the teams that hired former Saban assistants over the years, hoping that they could teach their programs to be like Alabama, he just never could speak Saban’s words, or his actions, as loudly as Saban could. That’s why Saban will always be known as the GOAT, and, sadly, he’ll still just be some guy named Ralph (or Kirby, Jim, Derek, Mark, Jeremy, Will, Steve, Lane, etc.). What a lot of folks just don’t understand is that it’s a process, and to build a superpower football program like Alabama’s, you have to be great at running every single aspect of it. Only one man is capable of doing that, and his name certainly isn’t Kirby, or Ralph, or Waldo. lol I have a tough time finding that guy. Where the heck is he? 😂 PS. Just in case any fans of Auburn or Tennessee see this, I was being sarcastic in the first paragraph. Ralph Waldo Emerson never knew of Nick Saban. Too bad you weren’t so lucky 😆

Funny how this video has aged. Pruitt was fired from Tennessee “with cause.” Mason was fired from Vanderbilt because he flat out sucked. Smart has won two national championships. (and counting?)
