I love Alabama with all my heart, but Kirby is a stand up guy and a damn good ball coach. I like Kirby a lot. Thankful for what he did for us at Alabama and fun to watch ever since he got to Athens. The SEC is just the best football in the world.

Beck had 7 pics dropped in the last 2 games against Bama. When Bama pressed him he made bad decisions. Beck looked good because Bama played prevent zone in the 2nd half.. period.

Mad respect for Georgia battling back and taking the lead. As a Bama fan for 40+ years, this game reminds me a little of Bama Ole Miss 2015. Bama had the ball late after 5 TOs to win and did not. Champions do not give up. Very good chance this matchup will happen again. Great win for Bama and Kirby just summed this up terrific.

Kirby Smart is the best coach in college football. Kalen DeBoer is also very good. When Nick Saban retired Kirby would’ve been my choice for Bama, but why would a coach leave Georgia, so Kalen was my second choice. They are both outstanding coaches and great guys. I can’t wait to see them play again.

Gotta tip the hat to how tough Georgia hung in there til the end and made it a fantastic heart stopper. The guts it took to go for it on fourth down deep in their own territory five or six times, and converted each time was something I’ve never seen in fifty years as a football fan. I’m a Bama fan (big time), so I love to hate the Georgia Bulldogs, but my respect for Kirby Smart jumped up a few notches because of this game. ROLL TIDE!!

Never take your foot of the gas in a game like this. Both the offense and defense came out stagnant after the half. Complacency and penalties will be what bites this team in the keister. It's a 60 minute game. Glad we came out with the win. Roll Tide Roll

Next game is AT Vanderbilt. They played Missouri tough (probably should have won) and coming off a BYE week. Every week in SEC play is gonna present some kind of challenge from here on out. The team can’t get too high of this game and get caught slipping. But I’m sure the team will move on and be prepared the best they can be.

I like Kirby Smart a lot and I am a die-hard Bama fan and appreciate him. Having said that, I really dislike his 4 letter language to the players in the locker room. I’m not naive, but using that language doesn’t motivate anyone. I played football high school and college but using the “f” word under his breath is not motivating to the players.

I don't have the answer but should one factor in Heisman voting be the potential of a pro career? Bama has a long list of qb's that win because of the team around them but haveno hope of a pro career. I think Milroe is in the camp. He'll be broken in half the first year of trying to run every play in the pros.

Kirby Smart leaves for the NFL if he doesn’t win a chip this season after this loss . Bank on it . Immulating Saban isn’t going to work anymore now that he’s gone . Saban knew it and that’s why he bowed out . Kirby isn’t going to embarrass himself and he will never get over that hill because of the Saban effect on college football . The only way he’s going to get out of Saban shadow is to be successful in the NFL .

That's probably an over statement but Beck is pretty arrogant considering his talent level for sure. I think as the season goes on we'll see that GA isn't what they were in some previous years but still have the potential to win big games. They have some major internal issues that need flushed out.

Bama won one quarter, and UGA won the rest of the game. The problem for UGA was that the first quarter was a blowout and UGA had to drive the field every series to score. Still they took the lead and were within minutes of winning the game. Hard to argue that UGA is not one of the best teams in college football.

@@editnosmirc4489 not really. Bama scored 21 unanswered in the first quarter. In the second quarter UGA scored 7 and Bama 9. Yeah, I guess the second was a Bama win, but not by much. After that, it was all UGA, taking the lead from a 23 point deficit. Bama had the score when they needed it to regain the lead but UGA drove down the field again, but had the INT with less than 2 minutes left.
