Yeah, hated how the best healer with a well rounded move pool gets average health. But at least the duo returned after years of absence.

Despite their reasonable concern, they haven't missed any hearts in this area so far. And considering they've only missed 3 in total, I think they're doing pretty good so far.

I think they give the characters to player 1 BECAUSE they played Kirby the whole game, so they can try out the characters they normally can't.

There's also the Guest Star allies mode which has Player 1 play them and has portions dedicated to those characters, so Player 1 wouldn't be in the dark about their abilities and how they function.

I just realized that the Adeline section has you match shapes because you're sculpting a piece and she's an artist.

it's also cause it's a reference to Kirby 64/crystal shards and dreamland 3, usually, when adeleine (or in dreamland 3's case, ado) appear, you usually have to sculpt out something thats been shown in a previous room, just like here

"Kinda weird how they give it to Player 1 when they've been Kirby the whole game" The woes of them playing this before Guest Star is something else. I think most of their problems wouldn't be problems if they played it or experimented with other characters more during the story.

Dark Meta Knight may be the worst Dream Friend of the bunch, but damn I like how creative that puzzle is with the charge attack, even if still pretty simple.

@@GBDupree I just attempted Triple Crescent Shot and they did not go through the wall, you might be misremembering something. The final hit of the regular combo works with Bluster Sword though.

If you haven't been reading up on your kirby lore, Gooey is very likely from dark matter, we just don't know why he's good specifically. Most say amnesia. Marx apparently did the entire milky way wishes arc because of dedede's decision to steal all the food and Meta Knight's attack on dreamland. Rick, Coo, and Kine were the original friends of Kirby's in dreamland 2 (I had nothing for this one, please forgive me). Coo was the only one without a counterpart in dreamland 3. (I think the other two had girl friends, correct me if I'm wrong)

All Jon needed to do was a down-forward-Y attack (hadoken input in case you know that) to do a cut shooting attack that goes through walls.

​@GBDupree I wasn't aware that attack went through walls. That's cool that there's multiple solutions even for the same character. EDIT: Okay, as it turns out, the Crescent Shot doesn't actually go through walls. I just played HiAD again myself for the fun if it, and I was disappointed to find out the Crescent Shot didn't work on that puzzle. GBDupree was misremembering.

Magolor does have wind... its the dash attack, can be used to put out fire, but actually some attacks in the arena do actually produce effects.. The three mage sisters have a "Weakness triangle" On certain attacks.. ..but dimensional whispy's giant fruit can be blown out into fruit.. Francestca's ice on the ground and become food if melted.. Twin kracko can freeze actually..! Plus you can burn the whispys if used enough fire on both sides..
