HOWEVER that is not a bad thing, because now 100% of this room knows who Terry Bogard is now, and I find that amazing. Smash has so much power and they're using that power to give back to the games that made Smash even a possibility. Smash wouldn't exist without games like Street Fighter, King of Fighters, and other amazing Fighting Games. Sakurai used to play these titles which is why he's paying his respects to the things he loves this way.

While i was hoping on my soul for the reveal to be Mai Shiranui, Terry is the mascot of SNK and their entire library of fighters imo. He's one of the first names that comes to mind when you think of SNK Fighting Games. I'm so stoked for his arrival in Smash and hearing this crowd chant Terry's name during the reveal was so nice to hear after everything that went down the week leading up to this. Can't wait!

As a fun fact, the first game made by the alliance between Capcom and SNK was SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium, which was released in November 1999 in North America. Terry Bogard will be released in Smash Ultimate in November 2019, so it would not be crazy to think that for reasons of the 20th anniversary of what that alliance was and that now both companies are reunited in a fighting game (Smash Bros), can appear some song related to this croosover video game series. Personally, This Is True Love Makin' along with Stimulation would be my favorite to be in Smash. It brings me great and beautiful memories! 😎✌🏻

Honestly, I don't know Terry personally because I never played Fatal Fury nor KOF (Though I did play the demo version of Kof14) but having him in smash is a really good choice if I do say so myself. I mean, he is the face of SNK like Sonic is with Sega, Ryu with Capcom, and Cloud with Square Enix.

Man, I sure had a blast last year. I stood up so late just to find out if the leak was true and my heart was racing just to find which SNK character is going to be in Smash. I was born in 1994, however throughout my childhood I mostly played arcade games and I own a PlayStation. In the early 2000's emulators started to rise like MAME and Visual Boy and I played a ton of them. I was impressed with the Neo Geo games and I fell in love with Metal Slug and KOF. I'm glad that people younger than me are introduced to a character I main the most in KOF. If you do play any SNK fighting game, prepare yourself for the mid and final bosses.
