Yes, it can. The mask has a steady flow valve that flows gas into the mask as our steady flow valve works on our helmets and BandMasks. The mask has two inlets on the side block, one for the main gas supply and one for an independent bailout gas supply, which is active by an emergency gas valve on the side of the side block. Will the scuba pod fit on the surface mask?

Absolutely, the Scuba Pod is compatible with the P/N 805-180 Mask, M-48 MOD-1, which has vent passages. However, it's not advisable to use the P/N 805-175 M-48 MOD-1 Mask with the P/N 805-225 Surface supplied pod since it doesn't have vent passages.

@@KirbyMorganDiveSystems : I have, and I have to say: in comparison with the *EXO-26* , the MOD-1 is underwhelming. I'am especially not too happy with the locking latches for the various pods. Sorry, but I must agree with the above poster.
