Saying that Brazil is better on paper than Colombia just because they have some better players on certain positions is not really a fair analysis. Belgium on paper have great players, but they are a terrible team. Having good players doesn't necessarily mean you are favorites, that is a very one-dimensional way of looking at it. There are many examples of this in club football, like PSG and Chelsea.
