The present teams are always at a instant disadvantage in this series due to less available to them something needs to be changed to make it more fair, maybe allow them to use 2 per club

Think it's a great balance. Getting to use all the best players from the current league and having to use past players sometimes means having to use outdated icons as well. Great mix and a great series

Also i believe you could add a bit more balance for allowing the Present team to pick 2 players from one of the clubs. Just having 2 Real Players or sth in this team wouldve probably shifted the balance almost perfectly :)

You should definitely also have to use them from current la liga clubs for the past 😂 it is harder, but there are some where the present just doesn't have any choice, you getting more clubs to look through is an unneeded advantage

How about the person with the present team has to prepare 3 trivia questions relevant to the teams, and for each question the PRESENT player answers currently, he can have 2 players for a club of his choice. In this case if James got all 3 correct, he could pick 2 players from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid

Kirbz what if the past players have to have a minimum of 50 appearances for said club. Atleast you can’t use big players that have played 10 games ya know

you ended up using him for Sociedad but you gotta be careful there, Xabi Alonso never played in la liga with eibar he played in the 2nd division with them its not like eibar got relegated after he just never played in la liga with them
