Kiribaku -On My Own

I know that it's two years old already, but I must say something here. Doesn't it fit perfectly with Kiribaku (relation)ship? It's just like their real theme song! I mean, it sounds like if it was mostly from Bakugou's point of view + there are some lines which suit Kirishima? I almost fucking squealed when I saw how similiar it is! There is mine interpretation: "I've been stuck in the cage with my doubt" - it's about Kirishima feeling insecure about himself and his quirk before going to U.A., back then when he didn't have a friend to encourage him on his way to become a hero. "There's gotta be another way out. I've tried forever getting out on my own" - Katsuki doesn't want to build relationships with others or involve personal feelings. *He wants to make it another way, counting only on himself.* Bakugo wants to do everything himself, always denies people who actually want to help him, he wants to became number one hero *on his own.* "I don't wanna fight alone anymore/In the end I am realizing I was never meant to fight on my own" - boys meet eachother. Red Riot earns his respect. *Katsuki thinks of him as equal.* He doesn't get pissed off anymore when Eijirou helps him and fights together with him. Kirishima finally has someone who encourages him more than anyone else (example? his final transformation!). "I lay my weapons/troubles down, I'm ready for you now" - Bakugou befriends Kirishima. He lets his guard down a bit when spending time with him, showing a little bit of his softer side. *He's giving Kirishima all his trust and accompanies him almost all the time.* "Bring me out from the prison of my own pride!" - Bakugou is running away from any feelings beside anger, creating a huge shield. He doesn't want anyone to mock him for his weaknesses, since he's the best and pride is the most important thing to him. *He's trapped in his own pride.* That's why he's covering everything up with his short temper, not showing any weaknesses or emotions at all costs. But there's that tiny part of him which is really done with not expressing feelings properly and being all alone. He wants Kirishima to accept and understand him. As I said before, *he finally opens up a little bit to his friend.* "Bring me out! Come and find me in the dark now" - it's probably old Kirishima reminding present Red Riot that he's still here, but Eijirou wants to let go of those memories completely, since he achieved going to U.A. "Everyday by myself I'm breaking down" - again, I think it refers to the younger Eijirou. He had a lot of problems with self doubt and was breaking down because of it, before he went to U.A. and met his true friends (bakusquad) and also his bestfriend (Katsuki). "Every little thing that I've known, is everything I need to let go" - Bakugou wants to give everything up just to become the best hero. *He's blinded by his own pride.* When he was little, he liked bonding with other kids, even though his ego was pretty big already back then. But now, he only wants to achieve his goal and other people to respect him from the distance. He doesn't care about most of the opinions coming from other people. "You're so much bigger than the world I have made" - Kirishima has a special place in Bakugou's heart, unlike the others. At the beginning Katsuki didn't really understand that and wanted Eijirou to go away, but he befriended him later on. *He gave Kirishima much more trust than he even expected that he would give to anyone.* "So I surrender my soul, I'm reaching out for your hope" - it reminds me of the episode when Bakugou got kidnapped and Kirishima saved him. Katsuki gave up his pride and let Eijirou help him, because they are equal to eachother. He wouldn't let anyone else to save him, because it would really hurt his pride. *He surrenders and shows his trust and respect for Kirishima again.* "I don't wanna be incomplete" - they are completing eachother. *They are both cheering for eachother.* Eijirou calms Bakugou down at times and helps him solve problems, while Bakugou encourages Kirishima and reminds him of his strenght when he's having a moment of doubt. "I remember what you said to me" - they were both giving advices to eachother. It gives them determination at hard times and during fights. "I don't have to fight alone" - they are together almost every time when it is possible. They fight against villains *together.* Just as I said before, they give eachother courage and face their struggles *together.* Those are the lyrics connected with canon Kiribaku which I have pointed out for you myself. I am soo proud of you if you have actually read the whole thing! ❤
