Horton Plains National Park, where Kirigalpoththa is located, is known for its unique biodiversity and stunning natural landscapes. The park is home to various species of wildlife, including sambar deer, leopards, and many endemic bird species. It also features unique ecosystems like grasslands and cloud forests.
