My first impression is that they suit each other very well physically, technically and emotionally. He is emotionally restrained as expected from a male and she is a very sensuous femme fatale, which translates into a very powerful and attractive couple image. Extremely intriguing couple, where it is very tempting to watch both dancers! They both have very expressively dancing upper bodies, which is already a distinguishing feature of this couple in my view. Sure, it's very early days for the couple and the routines will be perfected and technically polished in the future. I wish them all the best!

What do you think about their completely new version of this rumba to this music, just posted Jan. 31 on Netman BY channel ? They develop fantastically. Now so much deeper, calmer, more like Slavik and Karina. And on In media channel Jan. 30 and the same Jan. 29: their new fantastic jive. World top class.

@@helgechristophersen7665 Yes the show rumba at Royal Ball in Minsk is indeed calmer, more nuanced in an attempt to be more professional, but it's not a final product yet since I notice various inaccuracies. It's understandable, it's a fresh start for the couple. Anyway, it's great that they are modifying their dance routines, experimenting with different creative interpretations and it's exciting for us to watch how they evolve. Overall, to me they are very charismatic and very promising couple and I really wish them to find their own recognizable style in dancing. I feel they need to develop in order to produce more artistically mature dance. Actually, what I don't like is when I noticed several times Kirill touching partner's head in weird ways, like putting a palm on the top of her head, which seemed unnatural and unnecessary, but maybe I misinterpret something here...

I don’t understand this change of partner. I did not get the wow factor when I see this new partnership dance. When Kiril danced with Polina, especially their Rumba, I often dropped my jaw on the floor. That’s how great it was to me. Maybe this partnership is too new, I always thought Victoria is a beautiful dancer as well.

Ah, come on! 😁 There is the chemistry between Kirill and Viktoria. This partnership is too neu for sure, but I think they have a chance to be a world champion... We will see that. See the first blackpool from Brian and Carmen..... It was the same, and then..... ❤️

@@sergeychernyaev8900 Yes, and it is important that everybody see the elegant rumba basic by Kirill and Victoria on the Danil Ponomarenko video channel. This shows an other side of this couple´s rumba. Excellent basic performance. With feeling and gentle leadership. Also, please see the fantastic Michael Jackson show dance on this Szymon channel. It shows a very, very, very good partnership.

When I watch videos of Polina and Kirill, especially rumba, they hardly ever looked at each other. Kirill would look down or up or past Polina, and the few times he did look at her it was for placement. As individual dancers they are amazing, and it worked up to a point. But they deserve more as the amazing dancers they are. To grow and get to that next level they needed more than great individual dance ability. It was necessary for them to get new partners. As a new partnership, give a bit of time for them to sync. I love the way he now looks at Victoria. And she is 🔥🔥🔥 So when they do finally polish their connection, I suspect that they will be serious competition.

The new couple develops like a jet flight. And they fit well together, better every day. They are now a world sensation. Szymon made a "coup" capturing the new couple before everyone else. This same rumba and music just stunned the Royal Ball in Minsk, with a completely new calmness, deepness and partly routine. Get a BIG surprise and see it on Netman BY channel Jan.31. The very day before, and the day also before that, In media channel posted their fantastic jive from Crystal Ball.

I agree and do not understand the switch of partners made by Kirill. Victoria is not at the same level and he is not dancing to his full potential now. This partnership also highlights unfavourable physical features of Victoria , which did not happen in her previous partnership. I think their dancing would not be strong enough to compete in international finals :(. I am more excited to see Andrey and Polina. I think this year Andrey will take revenge on Nino for 2012.

I disagree with the feet !! Kirill has SUPERB feet and footwork and balance and poise. His footwork (and hip work) is not artificial. It´s the future of latin. It is natural. Everything comes from the feet, not hips. His weight over the balls and toes, and dynamic use of them, in his basic action, is SUPERB

It took me a while to get used to their rumba. The first impression was like I'd expected something more, like they didn't quite suit each other, etc. But now, having watched their excellent MJ and Mr & Mrs Smith which is also very good, I see in their rumber the things I was not able to capture at once. I see the connection that was missing with Polina. There is still something to develop, but actually this partnership already looks very strong. The both of them are top dancers individually and definitely there is a chemistry between them. Their dance is not superficial, it has emotional layers. Kirill is attentive to his partner, which was missing in the previous partnership. Vicroria has become calmer and more elegant, in my opinion. Now her dance is filled with deeper emotions than it used to be. Kirill is getting less dominant and more sensual, and that is a good direction to take.

You are right. What do you think of their rumba basic on Danil Poromanko video channel, which is on top of their internet presentation when clicking his name on internet ? This is meant to be their presentation video to the world of their new partnership, reigning above the rumba in Warsaw, which is lower on the list. Isn't the rumba basic attentively danced by Kirill ? And gently led ? And she dancing beautifully ? Also, to get the full picture, it is important to see this video from the FRONT which is to be seen on the Airdance video channel. Szymon films from BEHIND. Needless to say, it it quite a difference to see it from in front of them. On that channel I have specifically advised the new couple to include new bars with slows to let Victoria fully complete and enjoy her moves where it is too abrupt and unfinished (hectic).

Polina is a great dancer, no doubt about it! But there was no man-woman passion between them on the dancefloor and it was very hard to ignore that coldness between them, though their dance as such was very interesting to watch. If I'm not mistaken, Polina is a married woman? Well.. in this case, as a man I can understand Kirill then, because it is very challenging to emulate passion in these marital circumstances (surely, it is possible to learn that by developing acting skills). Victoria and Polina on the dancefloor appear to be very different or even opposite females from sensual viewpoint. Victoria to me has this seductive vamp vibe (reminds of Anna Melnikova), while Polina has this exhalted royal vibe that sometimes to me seemed a little like "Snezhnaya Koroleva" because it seemed to lack feminine sensuality towards Kirill. Also, I felt that Polina was kind of too mature and too strong of a woman for Kirill. In this regard, Victoria and Kirill are on the same page and I agree that there is naturally chemistry between them. They have huge potential if everything goes well because passion may easily transform from advantage to disadvantage or disaster. So, if Slavik is Kirill's one of the coaches, then Slavik can share his experiences in this regard as well... ;)

@@DanceAffectionist I agree that Victoria and Polina are totally different. Kirill and Polina did not seem to be on the same vibe. It showed even during their interviews, when Kirill rarely even looked in her direction. Kirill seems to be an easy going person, he is constantly joking and likes to drink a bit (just an assumption from his interviews))), while Polina seems to be more refined and intellingent in some ways. Victoria is more like Kirill, it's easy to imagine them being friends, which is also very important in a partnership, not only the chemistry. But having said all that, it's quite amazing how much K&P have grown together as professionals in something like four years. Polina has developed tremendously. Kirill has created his most memorable dancing parts while he was with her. Probably they have reached their limit, and evidently there have been some communication problems because of them being so different. But that limit they've managed to reach together is extremely high, that's why it was such a shock to their fans when they parted. Polina has succeeded in making Kirill look more refined than he really is (it' just my opinion), and for him, not only for her, their patnership was a great advantage from that point of view, since it allowed him to develop very much artistically. Regarding his new partnership, it looks very promising. He still has much room to develop here. What we see now is already great, especially the show parts like MJ and Mr and Mrs Smith. Their rumba is excellent. I think it's not yet their maximum, but we have all the reasons to believe it will develop only for the better and this partnership will be extremely successful, since all the necessary ingredients are here.

Well, this new rumba is just the very start for the new couple, but it will not be easy to surpass the rumba of Polina & Kirill because it was extremely appealing, especially when it culminated in show performance "Lady". But I feel like they reached their limit with it. Actually, I kind of stopped demonizing those couple splits. If Slavik had never split with Karina, we wouldn't have witnessed breathtaking performances with Elena and Anna, and the iconic comeback with Karina :) The dancing of many of those long-lasting couples becomes somewhat boring when the couples dance essentially the same routines for many years and do not innovate to a larger extent. I mean, it is not exciting when you watch essentially identical rumba routine for 5 or more years (with very rare exceptions). So now I am thrilled to follow how Victoria and Kirill will evolve together and will develop new exciting routines. They are both young and very talented dancers so I'm very intrigued.

@DanceAffectionist- I don't feel Viktoria is more sensual than Polina, I think she is a little less actually, in my view anyway. I find Polina is refined and soulful and she is sensual without having to create a bedroom vibe. Considering Polina and Kirill type of relation (we all know it was particular), they did extremely well together, their dancing style was compatible. I thought, the last year together was really great. But, sometimes, a change is needed - Polina is married? since when? never heard of that.

Personally I was not a fan of the rhythm of the routine. Feels too much hits and too little transitions. Perhaps use a different music with less melody driven would fit better.

Lili I- If I have to say which one impresses me more, it would be Kirill. I find he moves and dances beautifully. I agree, I don't feel that Victorya would be his best partner. But I assume it must not always be easy finding the best partner for each other.
