Piano in its perfection. 🤩 Such a clear speaking, powerful and transparent sound never was heard before. I feel a further development of the early Bechstein grand pianos, the „Bassbeule“ now was modified to give the straight strung bass strings a wider range at the soundboard. I am convinced that a company like Bechstein would have employed such a development in the 19 th. century if the music did not change harmonically in a more complex direction at that time and if Steinway did not force the companies to follow them by constructing cross strung instruments too. But today we are glad to be able to decide between three models of grand pianos. The traditional straight strung grand piano, the currently existing cross strung grand piano and the modern straight strung grand piano whom I wish a glorious future. Go on employing a great diversity of keybord instruments based on traditional concepts and developed in a convincing manner, lead by the desire of those pianists, who love the classic and the early romantic piano music in its original intention, thereby not meaning the contemporary instruments with all their difficulties.

Truly amazing. Is there a video where the maestro talks about adapting to this instrument? He seems to enjoy playing it so much.

How long would it take for a concert pianist to get used to this new piano? A day? Several days? And do you think he would be able to go back and forth between this piano and a standard keyboard? Could the brain and "muscle memory" handle it with ease?

I played this piano. An extraordinary experience! It was immediate - no adapting was necessary. Completely comfortable and a profound improvement over straight keyboards.

The playing is great! Unfortunately the piano sounds like a jalopy. A very thin, can-like sound with a thin tone. Oh well.
