This is a true beauty! Its pitty this concerto is not played as much as the No.2 of Bartok. This music is absolutely breathtaking and passionate. The violinist and the orchestra manage to create a line of depth and intensity. The controlled and precise conducting is a help to all parties and the music. Merci pour cette video et bravo!

The climax in Movement I of this Concerto (5:40 - 6:40) might be one of the greatest, most emotional in the history of music ! The whole performance here is absolutely gorgeous !!!

Geyer Stefi grew up in a conservative, very religious, Catholic family. When they were emotionally close to Béla Bartók, the composer shared his thoughts of a very liberal liberal world with Stef. The young, conservative-educated girl was very frightened and fled before Bartók.

Ezután többször együtt is felléptek. This piece of music has been in Geyer Stefi's account for 50 years. He broke Bartók's heart, but he conquered the world with his violin playing He was 3 years old when his father had given him violin lessons and officially began his music studies at the age of seven. He tells a lot about the wonderful talent of Geyer Stefi that was only 10 years old when he was admitted to the Academy of Music. He started his regular concert in teens and went to Europe not only in Europe but also in America, which, besides his beauty, also captured Béla Bartók. Almost a lifetime. She was hopeful, but she was in love with her 7 years younger artist. 130 years ago, Geyer Stefi was one of the biggest Hungarian violinists. Geyer was born in Stein on 23 June 1888 in Stefi. He was only three years old when his doctor's father had given him violin lessons. In addition to medicine, the man also tried to make violin, and his son, Stefi's brother, could become a recognized organist and organ builder. Stefi's mother's uncle, Károly Zipernowsky, was one of the inventors of the transformer. Stefi, a child of miraculous children, began his music studies at the age of seven, and was performing at the concert that year. He was admitted to the Academy of Music at the age of ten, where he became the student of Jenő Hubay, who founded the Hungarian violin school, and became the first world-class successor to the world. Stefi started playing concerts in teens, and not only Europe, but also America. He was already praised for his train handling, technical knowledge and musicality. She was 14 when she first met Béla Bartók At the age of fourteen, he first met Béla Bartók, whose time he became a muse. Their relationship with Stefi at the age of 19 was deepened in 1907, when Bartók, who was seven years old, was appointed as a teacher at the Academy of Music. Then they performed together several times. In the summer of this year, they met Jászberény, aunt of Stefi, when Bartók decided to write a contest for Stefi, the first motifs in his famous black pocket book. Bartók wrote in a letter about his ideal for the Transylvanian folk song collector, the unfolding emotions of the Christmas gift for a birthday party, but soon, at about the beginning of 1908, he had to wonder whether his emotions could not be returned. Their exchange of letters is an important music history document. Bartók sent the score of the only two-piece Violin Concerto to Geyer, who hadn't published it because of private writings; The first Violin Concerto, two years after Geyer's death, was first performed in 1958 in Basel by Hansheinz Schneeberger, conducting Sacher.
