@@yellyegg6890 Logan always said the story would end like it does at end of S3 but not necessarily in 3 seasons. He had sketched out more story in between. It was cancelled because its audience left it for Game of Thrones. I thought S3 was done brilliantly with all the main threads tied up.

Because the show runners always planned for 3 seasons. There was no more story to tell

@@danielhoffman4741 the last season was rushed. they couldve taken the doomsday plotline for another season easily. vanessa's passing was too abrupt

​@karallyo also, Dr Jekyll/Mr. Hyde story felt unfinished, Dracula wasn't defeated & the lovers predicted in the tarot back in seas 1 never came to be. Although I am glad Vanessa finally found peace, I wanted at least another 2 seasons with all of these incredible characters.
