Kirklandneuk Primary School's 60th Anniversary

Kirklandneuk Primary 60 years on, brings back so many memories. I was fortunate enough to have this wonderful school as my ala mater from 1962 onwards before graduating onto Renfrew High school. Strict, formal schooling was the order of the day with each student appointed an individual desk in the classroom. Happy days.

I remember the Two teachers called Mrs farqquarson. One was large and the other small. I started on the first day. Certainly neverb had a blazer or a tie. We were the poor one’s but were all treated the same. Remember the headmaster, Mr McNeil. Great “Heidie”. Known as Susan Lee then.
