The Recording feature in StreamYard just got a whole lot more useful with the addition of Pause, Restart, and Cancel. I'll show you how along with some use case scenarios in this video.

Hi Kirk, Can one start from where they left off after leaving the recording?

Hmmm…. I know you can pause a recording but I’ve not tested pausing and the Leaving the studio and then coming back. I’m pretty sure that doesn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend leaving the recording but rather pausing and then resuming

No I don’t believe that functionality is available.

Ok I was trying to bring a slide on my live and it wouldn't let me do the file or slide have to be saved in a certain format?

Yes if you want to upload them it's easier as PDF files but I'm told PPT works too

Yea I noticed this too wish I caught it before posting the video. I may have played the wrong file in the library area because I do have the recording where the video is mirrored jist didn’t show it here. Thanks for this and my apologies for the mixup.

Q: you started talking before the "Record indicator" displayed on the monitor ... Did you Capture the Beginning

Remember I’m doing a screen recording so it’s not that I started before the recording the screen recording only caught what you see in the video. It gets tricky doing a recording inside a screen recording
