Haunting and beautiful. I just hope Kirsty gets some recognition through Show Of Hands latest album inclusion of this song.

Gorgeous song and beautifully shot film. I thought that this was one of the stand-out songs on Show of Hands last CD Battlefield Dance Floor. Of course on the CD it's sung by Miranda Sykes who does an amazing job. In fact her voice is not dissimilar to Kirsty's. I only discovered today that Kirsty wrote Forfarshire as we played Battlefield Dance Floor for the first time in a while and I read through the sleeve notes. I will be checking out her other stuff. Thanks Kirsty.

This is great. I first heard this live in Exeter Cathedral when she was a guest on the Show of Hands Cathedrals tour a few years back. It was a standout of the evening.

Saw Ms. Merryn supporting Show Of Hands at the Union Chapel in Islington last night. She is a real talent and I predict big things for her. Great songwriter and possesses a beautiful hobsons. She sang one song a capella and you could hear a pin drop. Do go and hear for yourself if you get the chance.

I loved this song on first hearing ( when you sang it solo ) but this duet with Steve Knightley and the beautifully dramatic video is just awesome.

Lovely song beautifully sung. Spotted a curious anomaly in the video though - the mouth of the Otter is a long way from Forfarshire, Steve! :D

Not enough people have heard this magnificent song... I can't believe such talent is this overlooked and yet the chart toppers are complete garbage.
