Extreme Modern Almond Set on Fussy Fay😱

Hiya Everyone
We've got Fay in today!! She is the Fussiest Client I have ever had, but her fussiness has made me a better Nail Tech. She's in love with the Russian Almond Shape at the moment and I'm so happy that she is loving the tip and overlay, it makes my life so much easier!!
So in this video, I am using two different acrylic systems, Glitterama and Nailchemy's Genesis. I'm doing two systems because the folks at Glitterama didn't send me a clear, But I am still going to make sure I use the correct monomers for the powders. never mix systems! It can lead to uncured products and cause service breakdown and allergies
I am also going to be using Glitters from A&A and Lecenté and crystals from The Nails Boxes. I hope you like these longer videos, but if you want short and sweet with less banter, you can check out of Facebook page for shorter versions.

I've been watching Kirsty's videos since Naio, I don't wear nails and I don't want to but I found it fascinating and relaxing to watch, it's like watching jewelry making and it's so satisfying to see the end result. Fay may be fussy but she always ends up with the most beautiful sets. She may also pick way too many powders and glitters but Kirsty always seems to do such a fantastic job of making them all make sense. You can't change my mind that Kirsty and Fay aren't absolute wizards. Stunning. Just stunning.

I’ve started doing this shape on myself!! I love how square looks, but I find almond/stiletto more useable. (I have long hair and I use my nails as a wide tooth comb hahah) I feel like this shape is the best of both worlds 😊😊

Yes l agree l prefer the stiletto shape. I feel like it doesn't get in the way like other shapes like square as it's more wider so more likely to get in the way when doing certain things.

Those springy scissors are my favorite! 😍 I am in the dental field and those are my favorite for trimming pieces of acrylic and metal from temporary crowns. I think one of the reasons nail art is so intriguing to me is because the tools and techniques between the two industries are so similar! 🤓

Omg your using glitterama. It’s the best brand I have ever come across, you do need to work a bit dryer than other brands but I love that. Her powders and glitters are amazing, also which a lot of ppl don’t know about glitterama is if Fay for instance wants a colour you don’t have, send the colour to them and they will match that colour in powder, how amazing is that. I really can’t rate them enough, it certainly changed my application for the better. I’m hooked well and truly. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Sometimes I prefer to watch the cuticle prep bit more than the nail work. There is just something so aesthetically pleasing as seeing a clean neat cuticle. ❤ the different coloured damping dishes for different products is good, only thing is I would still have to put each bottle beside the damping dish because I would forget😂 which one was in which coloured dish!
