Since childhood I'm scared of both cats and dogs. One day, my brother rescued a sick puppy from street dogs attacking it. He brought that puppy in our society and made a shelter for it. Our parents didn't allowed to keep it in home because it was bited by those dogs and we might get infected. My brother would always feed it some roties, milk, water. Sometimes to tease me he would take me along. But with the passing time I wasn't afraid of that puppy anymore. Tbh I enjoyed playing with it. I named it Toto. After some days, as usual I went to feed Toto a roti. But the instance I reached there Toto wasn't there anymore. I saw my brother coming towards me with teary eyes. I asked him what happened. He didn't responded. He just took me outside our society where Toto was trembling badly. His teared flesh, broken bones and organs were visible stained in blood. At that very moment he passed away. It was my first encounter with death. My brother said that Toto went out of the society and those street dogs bited, scratched him in the most worst way possible. After that incident my phobia of dogs increased a lot. Now I don't dare to think about having a pet of my own.

here's a tip for everyone who's afraid of dogs .Whenever a dog barks at you, just don't make eye contact and slowely walk away. If you run away the dog's gonna be confused and start chasing you.

Even I had Doggophobhia🤣 when I was a kid. And just like you I had always had a desire to play with them and take them for walks. And to be honest other than me my entire family loves dogs. We had German Shepherd in our house but thankfully he was kept in the dog house so I used to stay away from him. But he never chase me or attack me, it was only those street dogs who chased me. When I was 15 years old, I completely overcame the Doggophobhia. It may take time but it is easy. Just don't act scared, nervous whenever you see them and never run. Since dogs hate thieves or unfaithful people so they will misunderstand you as one of those if you show those traits. So next time you see a dog tum bas ek bindass smile dena and be confident. *Actually kinda same situation happened with me but more terrible* When i was in 8th grade my dad bought me a new cycle and being a kid i named it *speedy* (i know it's awfully crazy, lol can't help) so taking my speedy with pride i and one of my friend Sam went for cycling in our colony( i loved the fact that speedy had shockup so bumps were an alien concept for me) so it was like 2hr we were riding and blocking roads of colony for every car like stupid hippies (hey we were just kids back then, can't anyone see) and then we decided to rest our cycle marathon coz sam was the one tired i could have done cycling for one more hour and still have the potential to ride my self home alive, but for Sam's wellbeing we decided to go home. there were two root to choose for going home one the shortest and another was a bit long so we ended up debating about which one to pick and then *i challenged her to reach home before her by taking the long root* (haha, silly enthusiastic me) then what, she accepted it (why won't she, it was a one side match) so i drove fast coz this was the only way to defeat her (she must be driving smoothly while singing baba baba black sheep) and then when i was almost to my finishing line still rush driving a very very very small malnourished dog (no not a puppy, a dog) started chasing me and barking *(what the hell do he want, my new shockup cycle!!)* and being a 13 year old kid i didn't knew we should not run in front of a dog (loud cries!) and though i was tired but still i was running for my life with full speed and then there was a sand pit in front of me and i was driving in full speed and then speedy spilled I FELL. (ouch) and while felling i screamed so hard that the dog ran away sacred (yeah, you bitch!) and i was so much hurt that i wasn't even able to stand.( lying there in sand) and then two angles from heaven came to rescue me out( just kidding!) two guys bigger then me (of course) helped me to my feet and the first thing i saw was if anyone saw me felling then i noticed Sam coming towards me( finally she is here!) and then those guys went i forgot thanking them(if you reading this Thanks, if you even remember helping a silly girl) but apparently i was covered with blood. (my blood) *Horrible day man still remember each detail,* ........

The same experience happened to me. One day I was cycling and suddenly some dogs came and started chasing me. I cried and ran away and left my cycle there only. But after some time I and my mom came and took my cycle. Really it was a dreadful experience!

I was chased twice. 1st: I was jogging in a park, 4 years ago, and I stopped in middle coz there was a dog in front of me. I stared at the dog, the dog stared at me, and I ran. I ran really fast tho.....And then I fell down near a tree and believe or not, the dog didn't do anything! Then the locals told me it was a friendly dog and doesn't harm anyone. 2nd: I was going to my dance teacher's house. And at that time when I reached, my teacher was playing with her dog, and he wasn't locked. Then the dog saw me and I started to run really fast. And then I finally gave up and stopped but then the dog just ran from beside me and I understood that the dog was actually running to my teacher's mom, just to meet her. This was my experience.

I am also 12.I do the same , once I remember I am going to a shop which is very close to my house but I can't cause there are several street dogs in the way so I am praying from GoD " Kaash ek uncle aaye jiske saath main idhar se nikal lu " l thought that when dogs will saw me with them ( uncle,aunty) they will thought it was his son only so theh will not chase me. And believe me sometimes it works , but sometimes it doesn't once I followed this trick and in the half way the uncle moved back 🤣 and I stuffed there 😝 I have a very high fear of dogs are like zombies in front of my eyes .
