Love how chill the chopper pilot is, but your travelling partner seems to have a little bit of "White Knuckling" going on..lol And how often do you come across accommodations that have a turntable anymore? You mentioned a storm had moved through the night before. Oh, how I would have loved to have seen footage of that. I bet even the STORMS there are beautiful!

We stayed at Anantara Bazaruto. Bit less of a budget, but equally stunning. The chopper flight was for me even more beautiful than the one we had on the Maldives on our ways to Jani and Fushi. Simply breathtaking!

Top five, Dr. LTE. Just amazing. That driftwood beach. The beautiful sand and water. A+ accommodations and amenities. Dolphins. Marvelous food--although I'm not sure about avocado ice cream. Viktor driving and doing every other activity the Sanctuary had to offer. Some commenters complained about the isolation and lack of other guests but I loved it! Thank you for sharing this wonderful trip!

I was wondered how impeccable were the interiors and food servicing, but 5k USD per night (HB and taxes) is a huge overpricing for this property. Funny that resort proposes bed and breakfast for 4500 knowing there is no alternative for dinner outside of the hotel)))))

Because the entire place only has 11 bungalow residences. Ranging from one bedroom to three bedrooms with $3600 euro per night price tag. Each residence has its own private beach and open air deck and Infinity pool and outdoor day area. There will not be more than 50 people total if the place is fully occupied. This is not a place for tourist. It’s a place for the rich to relax and get ride of their excess money. I imagine this would be a good place for celebrities seeking privacy.

I enjoyed my stay even though the weather was terrible. The spa is truly world-class and there are so many facilities to enjoy. If you want to just relax I recommend low season because of the very attractive rates but I only stayed four nights. None of the outside pools are heated and even though there are still lounges on the beach they were covered in sand with no cushions on. @@barrybbenson3879

thats great and all but 1. how good can the food really be when you're a helicopter ride from any hint of civilization 2. what is there to do there other than sit, stare, sexy time and drink? i guess thats the point of a vacation in the end, but even that gets boring after awhile i think i'd rather spend the $6000/day on an African safari or something

Its nice but lacks something, I saw few staff greet you as you entered or acknowledge your presence, they kept on working ...the food looked nice but lacked appetising flare as we eat with our eyes you want it to look delicious & edible it seemed routine esp the welcoming buffet of whole fruit not beautifully cut & presented pieces you'd love to eat & there wasn't an assortment of local delicacies either ... the villas were very nice but again it didn't stand out, no beautiful fresh flowers, no platters of nuts, dried fruits, pretzels or cheese to have with your champagne only 4 small squares of chocolate put them in a beautiful gift box, wrapped and with a compliments card and you have a winner that guest love... the restaurant lacked flare and colour that Africa is so famous for, it was muted and dull ... no african music ... the spa was cold, unwelcoming and to lacked the appeal wanting you come in ... sorry but for $3,000 Aus a night I wouldn't stay there...bring some life, colour, culture to the resort then it maybe worth the money

I find Miavana and Kisawa are kinda similar to each other but I don't know, it's just me. They're both luxurious and located in Africa. But I wanted to know who's the best?

If I would have the choice between this or Soneva I think service here is better, but Soneva is more earthbound. So if I want to have a deep connection to the earth, I'd look into Soneva instead of this. This is just luxury. About 80% there on the road to Soneva. Hard choice. Soneva has the problem of being too expensive for their already rich customers and decided to cut service - at least that's what I guess having shivdasani as a Google alert and so on. So Service here, but eco and lifestyle to soneva.
