My observation suggests that dogs have difficulty with bowed instruments, and will generally start to howl. This pooch seems to be experienced, and knew that the recital was likely to take some time. This human (me), however, cannot get enough of it.

Love the slow raga. Really meditative. 🕉🙏🏻 Often the I experience the super fast playing as little restless. Allthough I appreciate the expertise and dedication on the instrument. Dhanyavaad

Whenever I encounter raga recitals that are too fast for my liking I tend to reduce the playback speed. Sometimes all it takes is a 5% reduction in speed and it sounds a lot better.

remarkeably clear alaap/jor exposition followed by Dhrupad bandish in Choutaal. Can anyone supply the text? seldom have I heard the Esraj being played in this ancient way.
