Namaste from Salt Lake City. Been Nostalgic, been Upper Mustang in 1995 January ( pick winter time ). It was a great experience when I was traveling to “in search of a Story”. Upper Mustang was just opened up for tourists and there was no facilities like these days at that time. 0 technology except a heavy SLR Camera and accessories. I still remember a lady from Shyangbiche where we stop for breakfast but she could not offer anything except Sherpa Tea. She asked me Nrs. 70 for 7 cups of tea. I didn’t have exact change so I gave her 100 and ask to keep. No change needed. But she start fighting with me cause I did not give her exact amount 70 rupees. Thank god I borrowed money from our porter and get chance to escape from their. So innocent
