Kishorda was more in to acting in 60 s. He didnt give enough time for singing. Rafis voice was great till late 60s. In early 70 s rafis voice got tired. Kishor was in top form in early 70s. In industry fit stays. Same happens for stars. Rafis old songs were great. But later rafi got side tracked. Kishores voice was energetic. Probably rafi got depressed and went for haj.

Apko malum nahin Rafi sahib 22 months tak Haj ke bad gana chid diya tha .. producer bhool se gaye the … 22 month ek bahut bada period tha is beech producers ke pas Kishore Da No-1 choice ban gaye aur sare acche lyricists bhi behtareen gane Kishor Da ko mil raha tha so Rafi sahib dobara stabling Keene mein waqt laga two top starts Rajeah khanna c amitabh sirf Kishore da ki awaz ban gaye these were two factors lakin1973 main Rafi sahib ne come back kiya “ Aj Mausam bada beiman hai “ with Hummming and give many good songs … Rafi sahib had exceptional capabilities he could sing Bhajan, Kawwali, Classical besides hindi song so no point comparing ….both are exceptionally good singers ..
