it's so nice to see members of the audience walking on stage, reaching up to Kishoreda and taking his autograph. No protocols, no bouncers, no bodyguards. Today's concerts are nothing but shallow dazzle organised by big corporate houses. Everything is too flashy and jarring nowadays - the blinding lights, the ear-piercing music, and the corporate bosses sitting in the front row and sometimes walking up on stage to the announcement of such gibberish as: "And now we invite Mr. XYZ Chopra, CEO of ABC Company, on stage to light the diya and inaugurate the function." Everything is just a game of money, power and wealth. The concert is just a way to showcase the sponsoring power of corporate houses. Just look at the sweet clumsiness of the entire concert in the video. Those were the days ! Things were far less organised, but everything had a soul - a passion that got reflected in the smiles of the people on stage and the casual attitude of the orchestra group - casual, yet never missing a tune or note, and playing in perfect sync with the singing legend performing with them.

For me the king of singers r Kishor Kumar, Rafi, Mahendra Kapur. They r really awesome people this earth has ever produced. I wonder when this much talent people will born in India. Friends ,we all have favorites and thats awesome, but Kishore Da was a very very versatile singer and in this avenue he was better than Rafi and yet they are both legends. The great evergreen singer Mukesh once said in a rare interview that if "Kishore wanted to, he could put us all out of a job" because of his versatility. Kishore da even today sings to our soul.
