It is not the media. It is the Ugandan government responsibility to advertise Uganda's tourism industry. Kenya spends about $40 million in advertising Kenya's tourism. Rwanda spends about $30 million. On the other hand Uganda barely spends $2 million on Ugandas tourism industry. That's why Kenya is one of, if not the number tourist destinations in Africa. Kenya's tourism was project reach $3.37 billion last year. Uganda parliament is to talking about cutting it. The corruption in Uganda's leadership for 37 years has ripped Uganda apartments. Until Uganda gets the right leadership and true democracy, Uganda will never even see an inch of its full potential. Uganda probably is the most beautiful country in East Africa, but the least developed because of bad and corrupt leadership. More Ugandas themselves visit Kenya than touring Uganda itself. Most probably because they don't know what their own country offers. The infrastructure its self needs an overhaul in order to support other sectors of the economy. The infrastructure has been ignored since this government has been in power.
