@@JustOncexxxBro- I've been a fan for 33 years. Of course I know all their stuff! In my opinion, Kiss from 1973 to 1977 is pure magic. It's no mystery why they became the biggest band in the world at that time. No one else had ever done that before. By the time of the solo albums, Double Platinum, and Dynasty the cracks began to show. However, I will defend Dynasty as a great record even if it was a little different than what they did before. Suffice it to say that I love all the eras even if the original is my favorite. I can still listen to anything from Unmasked to Psycho Circus and enjoy it. I'm not a huge fan of Sonic Boom or Monster but even they have their moments.

Although my Kiss days started in 78, I immediately went back to the beginning of their career. Then from that point forward I was and I am a life long fan. Then in 1982 I did a road trip to Chattanooga TN from Atlanta Ga to see Vinnie in the Creature’s tour, right before the makeup was removed.. (I was 17 yrs old). And that’s a whole other story. But I made sure I saw them every year in the non makeup years. (Seen them something like 18 or 20 times since)…. All different members and all reunion stuff and the last current members. Love that Band, Love that Band…. Fan for life…

Ace was right about Peter's face. Paul told the funny story of when they were on their first tour driving in the station wagon and Peter said, I have the baby face out of the 4 of us and Ace said, yeah, a baby walrus. 😂😂😂 Looking at the pic of Peter and Ace without makeup I see what ace was talking about. 😂

I watched this when it first aired back in ‘79. When my father heard the remark about the band investing in an industrial park, he was quite impressed. The only disadvantage to that was in later years, when I was well into adulthood, my dad would always be calling me on the phone when they were doing some sort of TV appearance, especially in the post-reunion years. 😂

Gene wrote an article published in I think Wizard magazine, about how he used Spiderman comics get his students in Spanish Harlem to learn to read English, and how that was effective. I'm sure he was a great teacher, but it was pretty honourable of him to realise he was in that field for the wrong reason and got out. a lot of people would keep a steady paycheck.

Back in the day... 1978-1979 I would go see them every time they were in town. I bought shirts, belt buckles, posters, and I always enjoyed myself at their shows. They were great live. Hell of a show. Now that I'm older and all I hear is how they bag on each other. It really disapoints me. There's an old saying "It's better to burn out than to fade away". Even Ace's new album sounds too much like the old days. I myself have grown and adjusted to the newer styles of Rock and Roll.

Another really trash journalism on the band this 20/20 segment was even worse than The Land of Hype and glory on nbc from a year earlier, Dynasty was the beginning of the end of Kissteria they were having trouble selling out shows the costumes were becoming ridiculous they were no longer the respected kick ass hard rocking band but were turning into Liberace onstage the age of the people attending the shows was trending downward real KIDDIE SAT MORNING crap instead of the monster that was Kiss from the previous years. The dolls and all the other stuff that was being sold in the stores had a lot to do with them losing a big part of the original audience that made them big in the Mid 70's and it was all downhill from 79 onward up until the REUNION 96 that resurrected the Kiss brand.

I agree my favorite years was from 81-91 ! They got so much better when they finally got real drummers who could play double bass & Rock, metal music. Peter Miss the 1920 Big swing jazz roaring from out of 1920s could not even play single bass let alone double bass. And they finally got real guitarist Vincent & Kulick !
